How does the new 2-way contract work?

Does anyone know how the new two-way contracts impact the salary cap?

Can we sign #3pick and Zizic to this type of contract and take them off the books/cap?

From what I saw, this is the contract you give to the 2nd round (or undrafted FA) you want to play in the G-League.   They get more money then the regular G-League player and can be used on the NBA team for 45 days.   Gives the team two extra roster spots. 


Nader would be a good example of a player the Celtics could have used it on.
