I wanted Sullinger and Perry Jones in that draft.  As much as Jones sucked, he actually worked out better than Fab Melo (r.i.p.).  Sullinger showed promise but pretty quickly fell off a cliff.

I wasn't a fan of Bradley or Rondo, but I can't recall who I actually thought Boston should draft.  Those two actually worked out well for Boston.

I wanted Roy.  Then talked myself into Foye (D-Wade lite,  :P ) then really wanted Marcus Williams.

Ugh....that was a rough one on my part.

Also loved JuJuan Johnson at Purdue

I wanted Dunn, and I wanted him bad. Everything seemed to line up, between his improved shooting, the elite athleticism, the good defense, being from around the Northeast....

Thought he would be a huge contributor given the minutes that he wasn't likely to get here.

So yeah, given all the opportunity in the world, he looks awful.

Love me some Brown though haha.

Couple of guys from the same college, actually.

Michael Beasley.  Thought he was a 6'10" Paul Pierce.  Turns out he wasn't 6'10" and definitely wasn't Paul Pierce.  Other than that, I nailed it!

Bill Walker.  Different flavor to this guy though:  while Beasley was a top pick who busted, Walker was a second-round guy who I thought we stole.  And to be fair, he did kick around the league for a while.  But he was never the impact guy that I thought we had gotten.  Turns out that Doc might have been onto something when he left him on the bench.

Still loved that preseason smash on Theo Ratliff though.

Tyrus Thomas.

Thought he'd be an all star. Loved his game in college.

Exum  too, although jury still out due to injury.

Ty Thomas was a precursor to the modern small-ball big. I thought he would be great too.

Same here man. I mean I was worried he wouldn't work hard, but I didn't realize he wouldn't play in the offseason at all haha. He had a tremendous amount so totally understandable to miss on Beasley.

Royce White.

Nik Stauskas.

Arnett Moultrie.

Dante Exum.

I'm restricting the conversation to guys I thought the Cs could have gotten or should have taken.

Oh....and the coup de grace....ROBERT SWIFT. I thought he was the next Bill Walton.

Royce White for me too.  He really had so much potential to be a great player.  I was willing to overlook the anxiety issues but unfortunately they were way too much for him to handle in the NBA.  It looks like he just had an unbelievable year in Canada.  I'm happy for him that he has been  able to manage his issues and find a way to keep playing.

Darko. He moved so smoothly at 7 feet, with a mean streak too. LeBron was the obvious #1, but I thought he was a sure thing.

Interestingly, I'm a point guard and always have very strong feelings on point guards, but always seem to be wrong.
Guys I've loved on draft night:  Acie Law, TJ Ford, Marcus Williams, Rubio, Mateen Cleaves, Telfair, DJ Augustin.
Guys I've thought would bust:  Mike Conley, Curry.
The only one I can ever remember really hitting on was Kyle Lowry.

<humble brag>
Also interestingly, while I don't feel as strongly on them, I seem to hit it perfect on bigs:  Boogie (I thought he was the no brainer at #3 and even worth #1 consideration), Noel (would have taken #1), Embiid (also considered #1 even with injuries), Deandre Jordan, Myles Turner, Andre Drummond were all guys I couldn't understand how they kept slipping so far.  My next crop that I was very high on are WCS, Labissiere, Thon Maker, Giles, and Isaac.
</humble brag>

The other non-PG busts of mine that come to mind are:  Greg Oden, Yi Jianlian, Corey Brewer.
2020 CelticsStrong All-2000s Draft -- Utah Jazz

Finals Starters:  Jason Kidd - Reggie Miller - PJ Tucker - Al Horford - Shaq
Bench:  Rajon Rondo - Trae Young - Marcus Smart - Jaylen Brown -  Peja Stojakovic - Jamal Mashburn - Carlos Boozer - Tristan Thompson - Mehmet Okur

In case no one else has gone there...

I thought Markelle Fultz should be the #1 pick in the draft, but it turns he is only going to be average.  ;)
