So all of us are draft experts, right?   ;)

We've all made draft picks on these beloved forums...some were good.

But more often than we care to admit...we've whiffed on some guys.

The confessional is now open...FESS UP!

My draft whiff...the immortal Saer Sene!

Remember him?  Probably not!

I was touting him for the longest...so how did that turn out??

Career Stats: 2.2 PPG 1.6 RPG 0.5 BPG

Ouch!  Man, did I botch that one!!

How about you?

Easy to do. I have so many!  ;D

Dunn, was sure he was a star worth the number one pick.

Exum, boy did I hope the Celtics got to,pick him.

Bender, I drank gallons of koolaid on him. He wasporzingas part two for me.

Sigh.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Sullinger. I thought we had a steal with him and that he was going to be an all-star.

to be fair, Sully wasn't a whiff in the 20's.  he was a solid player and could be again if he commits himself to getting back into serious game shape.  an all-star was a bit of a stretch though.

I really thought Papanikolaou would fit nicely in NBA...

Really hating Bender as a lottery pick a couple of years later saved my confidence :)

I haven't really 'whiffed' where the guy I wanted when Danny picked has gone on to stink regardless of which team actually picked him.

having said that, Portis hasn't developed as much as I'd hoped and hasn't progressed as much as Rozier.

in terms of players I wanted but were gone before Danny picked --  Aaron Gordon and Dante Exum have been underwhelming to say the least.

Thought Okafor should have been the 2nd pick the year he came out.     :-X

JuJuan Johnson.  I'd been advocating for him for at least a month before the draft, and I felt quite smug when Ainge picked him.

Man were we both wrong.  To this day I'm still surprised at how terrible of a pick he wound up being.  It seems he just didn't like basketball enough to be a pro.

So many.

Acie Earl
Gerald Green
Ron Mercer

Marcus Williams

Brandan Wright
Corey Brewer

Those last two had solid careers, but I thought they'd be building blocks.

Royce White.

Nik Stauskas.

Arnett Moultrie.

Dante Exum.

I'm restricting the conversation to guys I thought the Cs could have gotten or should have taken.

Oh....and the coup de grace....ROBERT SWIFT. I thought he was the next Bill Walton.
