Ainge isn't going to get fleeced. Will the Suns though, that is the question.

No. They have Ainge jr. as their gm

Does the Isaiah Thomas trade ring a bell?

Knicks source on Phil right now: "he's dug in. If he doesn't get exactly what he wants, there will be no...

So much misinformation and conflicting reports out there right now.

Or he's bluffing or he's stupid and waisting our time. The rumoured offer of #3, Crowder + player is perfectly reasonable (at least to negotiate).

But maybe we should put Jaylen Brown on the trading block. Price: top 5 pick, all-star, starter + future 1st rounder. If we don't get exactly what we want, there will be a no.

Dave McMenamin: Source familiar with the talks between Knicks and Celtics told ESPN that New York’s demands for Kristaps Porzingis are “ridiculous.” Also the source gives the sense that Boston will likely keep its No. 3 pick to draft a player and not trade down again. – via ESPN

It is ridiculous

Im ok with #3, crowder and rozier

Horford
Porzingis
Brown
AB
IT4

That offer doesn't get it done so you might as well just say no.  Rozier has limited value so basically you're saying the #3 and Crowder which doesn't even get the phone answered.  He's not selling KP for that little, sorry...

They are not really in a position to demand a ton

Whats interesting also is

Knicks have nobody else to try to rip off other than the Celts or Suns

Nobody else seems like is lining up for the monster

They have a talent we want and that would fit perfectly, still with 2 years on his rookie deal.

I don't care how much PJ puts his foot in his mouth, he's still bargaining from a position of power here. Worst case scenario for them is he walks away and still has Zinger under contract.

SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Plus a young player who was already disgruntled with the team's management and now has been publicly badmouthed and dangled as trade bait, with another terrible season ahead of them.
