Just a hunch on my part. I thought of all the players on the Celtics, who makes the most sense to acquire by an opposing GM. Without too much analysis, Terry Rozier name came out on top of my list.

Why? For a couple reasons. One, he's been shooting the 3 ball fairly well. And, he's a decent defender who always hustles. He often replaces the starting guard and keeps pressure on opposing teams. He's not perfect, but he's becoming more and more consistent.

Plus, he's low cost in comparison to other valued players. Several have contract negotiations coming up.

We know Danny has shown a willingness to trade even good talent if he thinks he can get a better deal somewhere. What type of interest might he draw? Possibly a draft pick in the 8-12 range?

Anyone else think he might be on the radar of opposing GM's?

I think Rozier is our insurance policy... I dont see how we will afford both Bradly and Smart after we pay IT..   We will lose one of those 2 and when we do Rozier will fill in nicely for either..

I think Rozier's a nice chip to have tho. I'm curious to see what he's traded for

0% chance he gets you a lottery pick.

If IT has surgery and is out until December, or even possibly March, Rozier may be much needed next season.

Yes, but that's why we even more need a creator who can make the plays during IT's absence and that's not Rozier. We need Hayward or someone like him to take that role. Rozier is a great pressure-guy and I like him, but am affraid we're gonna cry for Fultz.

Celtics should go after Nick Young in free agency. Definitely a guy who can provide firepower from the 3-ball.

I understand that, but if Ainge is willing to make a trade, there are other ways he can create the necessary cap space.  With today's news re the salary cap downward adjustment, Danny will surely need to move more than just Rozier to clear sufficient cap space to offer the mid-level max to Hayward or Griffin.

If the Magic are still interested in him, even with John Hammond assuming control, I'd trade him for 33 and 35.

Trading Terry alone doesn't move the needle in terms of cap space, especially now that it appears to have dropped to $99m.

The Porzingis rumours are interesting, moving for him would easily clear enough room for a max free agent.

I actually think Rozier is one of the least likely
Traded. I can see a variety of the "core" players like Smart and Crowder being traded before him.

I believe Rozier can get us a pick somewhere in the range of 25-35. I also believe he will be traded because DA needs to create more cap space and we have a lot of point guards. For some team that want a solid backup point guard on a rookie contact Rozier is a nice chip. 90% chance Rozier is gone, only way Rozier si staying if Smart got traded but i don't believe that will happen

If the rumors about Danny wanting Dennis Smith have some legs, I could see Rozier included with other pieces in a trade to fill a hole in the frontcourt.  if Danny makes a trade for the #5 and #10 from Sac, I'd be very surprised if Rozier isn't being moved in a deal (not necessarily to Sac with the #3 but in some sort of deal)
