It would be ok because the draft is for taking best player available, not exactly for fitting a desperate need on a team. Rookies don't make or break playoff teams  chance of contention unless its once in a decade type talent

If we were drafting by need, we'd be drafting Zach collins. But we aren't

... It will be because this is a guard heavy draft in the top 7.  Outside of Tatum and Jackson all the top prospects are guards.

Having said that, give me Tatum or Jackson at number 3.
