Tatum v. Jackson: Like Choice between Carter and Jamison in '98 Draft

In addition to being judged for trading down from 1 to 3, and giving up the right to draft Fultz, Ainge is facing even more pressure with who to draft at 3: Tatum or Jackson. It reminds me of the '98 draft, in which Antawn Jamison and Vince Carter went 4 and 5.  They seemed very close in that draft, but turned out to be a much better deal for Toronto with Carter (at least for a while).

Only time will tell. This happens when a draft is loaded with good player but no real game changers like a KD, LBJ, etc.

Good talent but a lot of the same

Carter had a much longer career, but he and Jamison were comparable pros at their peak.  Edge to Carter but not by a lot.  People forget that Antawn was a darn good player.
