If we draft tatum with jaylen and crowder,  shouldn't we go after Blake or use Crowder for Porzingis

I agree, I've been big on signing Blake over Hayward for a while, and now that we've moved the #1 I wouldn't object to moving it for Kristaps at all.

I don't want a logjam on the wings like we've experienced with the guards, all the while still lacking quality bigs.

Blake is a stud scorer and rebounder, plus he's one of the best passing big men in the game, which would make him + Horford quite deadly. And we all know what Kristaps is.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)

PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Nobody is saying Hayward is transcendent, and I dont think it has to do anything at all since the guys you mentioned aren't either.

Nobody is questioning the Fit of Blake Griffin, but his injury concerns are very real.

If Hayward can be signed, another deal will have to be in the works immediately, since the team still doesn't have a starting-caliber PF and will have a ton of wings. Signing Blake would make the team-building a lot easier.

Wrong.

Hayward's hair is supremely transcendent.

I don't think they are signing Hayward.  Not only will he be very expensive but he can get more from Utah.  A LOT more.

Like others said, he is not super-elite and does not solve the rebounding problem.

Not thinking about Hayward this week.

Haha!  TP!

As of now Hayward would be transcendent for the Celtics.  As of now Isaiah is the only guy we have who creates offense.  Hayward is a creator from the wing who would have a tremendous impact on our offense.  We would be far harder to guard and probably become a much more efficient offensive team.

He is not Lebron but he is pretty Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. good. Would probably be 1a/1b with IT. He's legit a perfect fit here.

He solves a lot of scoring issues for the C's and gives the C's the possibility of having a legit scorer on the floor at all times, alleviating the zero offense bench unit issues the C's had last year.

Transcendent!

The guy isn't "transcendent" on a Bird / Duncan / Lebron level, but how many of those players are in the NBA?

Griffin is also a good fit but he has a lot more red flags then Hayward.  Injuries, he has lost some explosiveness, he is not a 3pt shooter.  His positives are his rebounding and low post game.  It seems Brad wants a true 5 spread and I don't think Blake gives you that.

If the C's can even get a big FA I think they would be happy to have either.  This is the last year of cap space for a long time and when IT, Al and company are coming off of the books the C's will have to resign the young bucks.

GH fits well with this team and you'd hope Crowder, AB and Smart all have enough trade value that 1 could be moved to upgrade our big men.

Exactly. I'm thinking two and one is already starting to show the subtle effects of Father Time which means the stark ones will be arriving shortly.

Transcendent or not, Hayward would be some darn good help. I'm hoping and thinking he'll be in green in the fall.

He is a big upgrade over our present SF.

I guess the aim with getting Hayward is to set yourself up to trade for the transcendent player. He makes a lot of pieces more movable if someone like Davis becomes available

This is true. But once the C's have signed Hayward and they have him, Crowder, Brown, and Tatum/Jackson (not to mention Bradley and Smart) what's the plan from there? Bringing in Hayward will necessitate a follow up move unless the C's plan is to totally abandon the idea of playing big men.

Trade Crowder to the highest bidder? He made himself expendable this season.
