Somehow the Hawks will still manage to win about 40 games next season.

Atlanta must have really, really hated Howard.

Seriously, right?

Are Plumlee and Belenelli even 'assets' at this point? In addition to Howard, Atlanta is also trading the #31 for the privilege to select at #41. One would have thought that picks could have at least been left off in this deal.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Its crazy to think k that Dwight have fallen off like this.

I honestly dont know why Charlotte is trying to eat this contract, unless they have a guy at 31 they really really like.

They have to; it's in the CBA.

Dwight hasn't gotten a fair deal since he left Orlando. :'(
Media and fans biased.  Haters.
The big guy is still productive. Respect.

::::scratches head::::: but if he was traded to the Bobcats,
isn't he the only one on the team?

The bad news is, Atlanta is probably in full tank mode next year. That's competition for our picks.

Dumping Howard for next to nothing, saying publicly Millsap will probably get better offers from other teams in free agency... Yeah, it looks like they've decided to tank. More competition at the bottom for the Nets and Lakers is no good for us.

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to trade center Dwight Howard to the Charlotte Bobcats, source tell ESPN's The Undefeated.
Really? Is he going back in time, too?

I don't know about that.  Still have Schroeder and Bazemore, and could resign Milsap.  Sounds more like trying to get rid of Dwight than tanking.

Yeah, maybe they think this gives them a better shot at retaining Millsap
