Wow.  BJ Armstong is his agent?

He's the same agent who played extreme hardball with the Rockets and screwed over Motiejunas.

Gotcha.

Unless they are picking Jackson to trade...I tell him to kiss my ass and pick Tatum

thats what Jackson suspects ....to be traded if Boston picks him.....

lots  s of possibilities .....how his deal works out.

i really don't see why it matters at this point to him.....no body is going to guareentee anything ....its a business world .  Fultz might benpromised first draft , then traded next day.

I would still bring him in if we don't take him what is he going to do?   Tell people we lied.   It is a business.

see this why Tatum appeals to CBS...

no Diva .....normal guy

He is product of hard work, not star ability.  He is skilled but his ceiling is inherently lower than Jackson because skills are already possessed at a good level by him.   Jackson is the opposite, he is somewhat raw but has more potential.   Sometimes potential never gets realized though.

You wouldn't do this unless 100% certain.  The fact that they are still trying to get him means they are not yet.

Jackson and his agent don't like where he fits playing time wise in Boston. They feel he won't play much with Brown and others there.

Jackson won't workout in Boston unless the Celtics commit that 1. They're keeping the pick 2. He's their guy at No. 3.

This is laughable to me. Pass.

I don't get it. So he wants us to commit to him, before he works out with us?

I like Jackson even more now!

He is playing chess with Danny lol

So you going to play mind games with Danny, of all people to do so with nonethless, but your potential boss? Yeah, okay. He can go to the Lakers. Not interested in players like that...

Jackson reminds me of Rondo...kind of a brat  ;D

Good sign is..he is willing to committ to the Celts..if they committ to him

Agent is BJ Armstrong for anybody wondering.

Up until now, I've had no opinion of him as an agent, but haven't liked the way he's handled Josh Jackson (he's one of the agents that has basically said he'd rather his clients go to LA or Philly over Boston so they can put up stats).

Looking at his client list, doesn't look like he ever had anybody who played for the C's, nor anybody else who  might be on the C's radar.  He does represent JaVale McGee who had a potential contract fall apart with Boston a couple of years ago (don't know if  he represented him then though).  His best move so far was probably getting Biyombo a big contract.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

It's all agent driven, but yeah, it makes no sense. "I won't agree to an evaluation unless you take me no matter what that evaluation says".
Which probably means he doesn't want Boston to draft him.

I take it is as, "The draft is two days away and we have a lot of stuff going on, so we're not going to waste our time arranging a workout and travel up to Boston if this is all just so you can have some kind of leverage and you're not actually interested in drafting him.  If you can commit to us that you're seriously interested in picking him here, OK, we'll come."

His agent is not too bright.  If he drops from 3 to 4 it will cost him $2.5MM in his rookie contract.  By the time that contract is up, he will have plenty of time to earn his spot and earn his next contract.  Also, whatever endorsement money that will be there, will also be there, and probably more, on a team that goes to the ECF or more vs. a lottery team.  Who got more national exposure last year, Jaylen or Ingram?

Doesn't seem like a wise financial move.   Am I missing something.

Ainge has been trying to bring in him from the start of the draft, when he had the 1st pick, and how many times has Jackson come out and said, "I believe I'm the best player in the draft." So there is no excuse or defending him on this one.

Jackson doesn't want to be here. It happens. Thing is, I'm not sure I want someone like him here either.

Ainge has been chasing a Jackson workout for weeks. Jackson ands his agent have repeatedly said they are concerned about PT with Jackson in Boston.

I still can't believe he's using a workout as a contract negotiation. Its not even negotiable, it's a condition

Jackson is coming across as a turd. I want Tatum. Kid came in and has never had an issue off the court.

Jackson has been in trouble at Kansas...hangs around with crappy people. this is a direct reflection that he is a poor decision maker.
