I've lost sleep since the trade with Philly went through wondering about what is to come. There has to be more. Whether it is a trade for a proven All Star or something else. Could Danny be eyeing a trade with Sacramento (3 for 5 & 10)? From all indications Jackson and Tatum are a coin flip in terms of value. Could it be that 1 of the 2 will be available at 5 (more likely Tatum)?

A likely draft day scenario:

1. Fultz (76ers)
2. Ball (Lakers)
3. Jackson (Celtics traded to Kings)
4. Fox (Suns)
5. Tatum or Isaac (Kings traded to Celtics)
6. Isaac or Tatum (Magic)
7. Smith Jr. (T'Wolves)
8. Ntilikina (Knicks)
9. Monk (Mavericks)
10. Markkanen (Kings traded to Celtics)

We could walk away with both Isaac/Tatum and Markkanen (to replace Olynyk). I mean this would be a great draft IMO. Or we could gamble and reach for Giles at 10 and walk away with 2 low post draftees in Isaac and Giles.

Except if we have 5 and 10 we have to move someone like Smart to get to max cap space. We might trade back to 5 but it'll be for a future pick not #10.

Thank you. I am so sick of everyone on this blog saying just trade the 3 for SACs 5 & 10 like they would do it. It makes no sense. I just read that SAC turned down LA #2 pick for 5 & 10 so PLEASE EVERYONE STOP saying trade the 3 for 5 & 10 like it's a given.

I agree, but it also depends what happens up until the Celtics pick at 3.  If Ball falls to them somehow, maybe SAC wants him desperately enough?  You never know.

Then why wouldn't they have been interested at #2 where he would definitely be available? If they were desperate then why pass up that opportunity?

If what we are hearing is true Sac wont trade #5 & 10 to move up. On top of that the C's don't want 2 lottery picks. They still have 2 picks from last year they haven't signed.

I agree with the other posters here, time to stop with #3 for #5 & 10!
