Don't freak out, but, on @PardonMyTake, Blake Griffin put Boston on his Mt. Rushmore of NBA cities alongside Toronto, Phoenix and NY

No new information here. If Blake is seriously considering us over staying in LA than you don't have to wonder if he cares about basketball. I think some were concerned that he might like the limelight and the commercials a bit too much, but if he really cares about how the fans reacted to Paul and wants that kind of legacy for himself, then I put my chips on a hopefully healthy Blake Griffin 100% of the time.

He's my ideal FA target this off-season. I think he'd be the perfect complement to our team, especially if we make a move for a guy like George.

Paul Pierce is the gift that keeps on giving

Yup. Boston makes the list then he immediately brings up that lie Adam Jones told about Fenway. Great. That FakeNews that everyone embraced with zero witnesses and evidence is going to cost our NBA franchise.

Just when I thought I couldn't be any more anti-SJW. I'm going to morph into Jordan Peterson soon.

The Los Angeles Clippers have contacted the Suns about a DeAndre Jordan trade. Nothing imminent as of now.

Is this a definite indication that Clips are disbanding?

Interesting, I guess PHX wants to start winning now. Blake's PHX inclusion in his Mt. Rushmore makes a little more sense now.

I guess it is a definite indication that our Clippers first will be worthless.

No.  It is an indication that their "big 3" hasn't worked and Jordan is the worst of the 3.  If they move Jordan to the Suns, I suspect they would then use those assets to try and acquire Butler or George to pair with Paul and Griffin.  They don't need 2 bigs and they badly need a wing.  In that context it makes a lot of sense, especially with the Suns being linked so heavily as the 3rd team the Cavs are engaging in the Butler talks (and the rumor that the Suns are the 3rd team that the Pacers got involved in talks with the Cavs).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Blake makes sense if the Celts for whatever reason decide to go all in on the next three years and trade for Butler or George.

Don't see the sense in signing him otherwise.

true, signing Blake only really makes sense if there's a move to get another all-star on the team for next year.  I can't see the sense in adding Griffin to make just and incremental improvement.  a definite improvement starting him next to Al instead of Amir but with our FA's cut loose to sign Griffin and possibly 2 of AB/Smart/Crowder traded to get Butler (or one with possibly Rozier to get PG) in terms of roster changes, the C's will go from a team deep with NBA-quality players to a terrific starting line-up with a very thin bench.

Griffin cannot stay healthy. I would not over pay him.  He just is not a guy you can count on

Ive been for Hayward up until now...

If we draft Tatum or Jackson are we really going to have Jackson/Brown/Hayward/Crowder all basically playing SF? I get the new whole position less NBA, but still something has got to give there.

Griffin makes more sense at least from a position of need.

The injury concern is real with Griffin but let's not undersell what Griffin could mean to the Celts.  Not only would he be a massive improvement over Amir, who was literally unplayable at times last season, but he would directly address two of the team's biggest weaknesses.
