My absolute ideal scenario right now is we select Tatum at number 5 and acquire number 10 even if we have to add number 37 that's fine.

Obviously it would be great to take a big man. I loved TJ leaf bam adebayo Justin Patton to name a few I would even consider taking TJ Leaf number 10 but that's just me who would you take.

I'd take a flyer on Adebayo perhaps. It depends who fell through. If we could score Markannen I'd like that. Not really sure.

Feel like Ainge would take someone wacky like Donovan Mitchell or Ntilikina.

I like Zach Collins there.  Skilled big with some upside.  Seems like he could definitely take over Olynyks role at a fraction of the cost.

He will be long gone by then. 7 to Minnesota is his floor, and he could go as high as 4 to the Suns. He’s not working out with any teams past 4.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

Me too.  I'd love to get Collins.  I think he'll be a good player.  Markannen would be great too if he's still around.

Probably not Markkanen. I am really concerned about his ability to be a starting level big in this league, especially compared to Horford.

I would go with either Ntilikina (if he's there) or even go for Giles. Too early, I know, but people said the same thing about Maker last year and Skal dropped all the way to #28 - both of whom I would be happy to have for the 10th pick in this draft.

I would look to take a big to fill that off the bench KO role.  Markkanen or Leaf could provide some nice offensive upside.  Maybe take a flier on Giles if you can view his medicals.

I'm really intrigued by the possibility of trading back to 5 and 10, though if Sac really wants to move up maybe we could do 5 plus a player?  Perhaps that is getting too complicated.

at 10, I'd consider taking a shot at Giles if he clears a medical examination -- high risk, high reward type of pick.  not really intrigued with the other players there at 10 that have been mentioned.

TJ Leaf or OG Anunoby.

Depends on who we take at #3 or who we trade for. If we pick Isaac, then Anunoby becomes superfluous. Though I like the power and wingspan of Anunoby, he can cover positions 3-5 (which is rare) and is also a strong finisher in transition. His shot and the ability to create in the halfcourt is really questionable, but maybe he can develop that over time. He fits right in our attempt to become the best defensive team in the NBA.

Leaf on the other hand is mostly known for his great offense. His shooting stats are really spectacular. He's very creative and can be a post playmaker or play at the perimeter and be a threat with his passing, driving and shooting skills. But he will definetely need time to acclimatize to the NBA level. He needs to add weight to be a good rebounder like he was in the NCAA.

Patton

Yes!  Would love to get a pick in the 10-14 range and take a chance on Patton.

I'd be disappointed if we did this deal. We don't need to add 2 rookies. Danny needs to trade for an established all-star or take whoever he claims is his guy with the pick and move on to free agency. Adding more rookie contracts just takes that much more $ away from offering a max contract.
