Porzingis here increases your chance of getting Hayward exponentially I would think.  Now you'd have a team that would give Golden State problems.  Porzingis/Horford/Hayward/IT/Bradley - Brown as 6th man.  I'll take my chances with that group.

Phil says two starters and a pick? Crowder, Bradley, #3. Where do I sign?

Danny's like "no, the 3rd pick is too valuable for Porzingis. Let me trade down."

Cue the report in 2 days that the deal would've been done, but C's wouldn't include [insert random role player that will never be as good as Porzingis currently is].
Lol.

Gotta love people suddenly acting like Danny Ainge is a bad GM.

If Ainge wants Porzingis, he'll get Porzingis.

I would cosign on this one. Heck, here's the 2018 Boston first too, just to add a sweetener to it.

If we trade Crowder, #3, Rozier, and another pick such as the Memphis pick, I think we would be very close to being able to offer the full max to Hayward.

IT Smart
Bradley Smart
Hayward Brown
Porzingis Olynyk
Horford Zizic

This is a lineup I could get excited about.

I think this is probably true. If Ainge really believes in Porzingis, we have too many assets for this not to happen. This is almost exactly what you're hoping for when you stockpile assets.

They can have any other non-BKN/LAL they want too. I'm not forking over more premium assets, but any secondary pieces they want are theirs.

You'd have more room for free agents that way, too. Gives you plenty of versatility and options this summer. Hell, you might even get to keep KO this way, too. It'd be close.

I'd really like to keep Bradley for this year if possible, though.

Never said Danny is a "bad" GM. Just realistic.

We've had a few chances to potentially trade for star talent. We didn't even throw our hats into the ring for Demarcus Cousins. We allegedly let Jae Crowder be the deal breaker for Jimmy Butler at he trade deadline. Lots of coulda, woulda, shoulda in terms of turning these picks into actual players.

I've long held that porzingis is one of the most overrated players in the NBA. If Danny trades for him I will immediately reverse that opinion and proclaim to all willing to listen that the hype is real.

Joking aside, id do 3 and Bradley to start and I wouldn't fight too hard on including Jae Crowder.

I wouldn't give up more than one core picks/youth(Brooklyn picks Jaylen and la/sac pick) .

youve also got to be pretty confident you can pull in Hayward if you give up both Bradley and crowdeR. Otherwise there is a gaping hole in that lineup.
