Sorry, but we can't get the Lakers pick next year. Levar Ball already spoke into existence that they are making the playoffs.

I dont think they would take both players if they got the top 2 picks. I think they would trade one of those picks.

Doncic played in the toughest pro league other than NBA. Kids his age, no matter how talented, rarely get the minutes he did. He more than held his own. If he dominates this year and shows more athletic ability/explosiveness then he will challenge for the No.1 pick. I just think his lack of size is only thing keeping him from being consensus right now.If he was 6'9 or bigger then forget about it. Therefore, if the C's get lucky again, they'll trade down to 2 or 3 again (barring LAL pick falling in same range). I think it's going to be the 2019 pick we will need to keep an eye on as I don't see LAL being the bottom feeder they've lately, unless they get lucky for us in the lottery. Just too many teams blowing it up & turning to young players knowing they have no chance but to build through the draft for now. I can't wait for the initial FA/trade season to be over so I can make up a power rankings list to see exactly where we may stand as far as the LAL team is concerned. Not worried at all about Brooklyn improving this year so they'll again be a lock for a top 5 pick.

He's a 6'7 point guard, that's awesome hight.
I've watched several videos of Doncic. He's 6'6 tops. He looks like a guard. I've seen where he's listed as 6'8. Doesn't really matter much. Just didn't want people to expect a Jayson Tatum-sized SG. That's all fine as he could grow as he's just turned 18 a few months ago.

I think Brad would love having the ability to put out the following lineup:

Doncic
Brown
Tatum
Crowder
Porter Jr.

It'd be his positionless basketball dream.

Doncic is not a PG and will not be one at the NBA level. Not sure who will play the point on the above team. No real high level ball handler in that group, not even as good as Marcus or Avery.

Bc he is slowwww

Wouldnt be surprised if he becomes Rubio part 2

Remember how Legendary they made Rubio sound prior to the draft

Remember how Legendary they made Rubio sound prior to the draft

Doncic, in his first season in Euroleague during which he turned 18, scored more points, had more rebounds, an equal amount of assists, and shot much more efficiently (about 10 percentage points better from 2 and 3) as Rubio did in his first 3 seasons, through the age of 19.  And Doncic has about 4 inches on Rubio.

Doncic blows Rubio out of the water -- they're just not comparable.  If I had to pick an NBA player who's game is most similar to Doncic, I'd pick Hayward, ironically.  Except he's so far ahead of Hayward at the same age you can't compare them either.  A do-it-all forward who doesn't have the elite size and athleticism of a LeBron or Kawhi, but is very skilled.  And given his age, neither Doncic's size nor athleticism is remotely a finished product.  But his skill is unparalleled at his age.

one of them has to be Ayton.

the other is Michael Porter Jr.  Unfortunately, it is very unlikely that Bagley joins the class.

We end up getting picks 5,6.  Ainge trys to trade up but no one will deal.

We get Collin Sexton and Wendell Carter.

Why ?

Well if not we can pick him with the 2019 pick

Bagley and Barrett are sick
