This better be part of a bigger deal for someone they can actually use. Doing all this for Josh Jackson and the Lakers pick would be dumb

What the hell is going on. The LAL 2018 is not going to be a good pick bc they can get better. This is such a horrible trade if I am reading it right...even if Ainge wants Tatum. We could have grabbed a player from PHI like Saric or something.

Plus we should have demanded the SAC  2019 unprotected 1st owed to Philly.

I was gonna watch the draft, but I'm not really interested anymore. Hope Jackson does well on this team.

I like fultz.. but I also like this deal... Ja kson will be fine and if he is coming in means Crowder is on the way out.. so expect George or Butler....

Ugh, I was so stoked to watch Fultz and Brown dominate summer league. Not so much anymore.

Trading the number one pick to get Josh Jackson and some protected future picks... Brilliant Danny.

Jackson is such a disappointment. Does nothing for this team.

Just the thought takes away any enjoyment from summer league.  :-[

Strange.

Doesn't make much sense to pull the trigger so early unless it's to turn around and make another move.

Hopefully the third pick is unprotected and ideally the Kings '19 selection.

I'm worried that LA won't suck next year. They tanked more obviously than most teams and looked decent at times. Plus major improvements from guys like Russel and Ingram is possible if not probable. Also, Lonzo makes guys better. I don't love the trade but Ainges track record is giving me some pause before bashing it. He's earned a lot of benefit of the doubt, but now the joy ride is over. This move has GOT to work out or he's got some serious questions to answer.

I mean who needs offense when you can have 120% of Josh Childress. Come on guys....

Edit: but he won a lot of games in college!

Has Tatum worked out for the Celtics yet?

The is going to be the 3rd, the Lakers pick next year and a heavily protected 2021 pick from Philly

What an incredibly awful deal

Lakers had interest in pursuing a deal for No. 1 pick/Fultz, but Sixers ability to potentially deliver 3 FRP's in deal too much to overcome.

This makes me think the deal is better than reported, or that one of Chicago/Indiana really wanted that Lakers pick for next year.
