Im curious. Who were your draft favorites in the past several years for the Celtics who might have been available at the time? There's no reason to be ashamed if you have complete bust on your list.

Mine:

2010 - Avery Bradley
Wanted a big for a rebounder since we got killed on boards during the finals, but the once better prospect than John Wall was just too good to pass up at #19.

2011 - Reggie Jackson
I heard he got a promised with Danny to be drafted but OKC had other plans and grabbed him before the Celtics can.

2012 - Jeff Taylor
Wanted him for his defensive prowess that we needed against Lebron. But was happy with Sullinger because I never thought he would slide that far.

2013 - Rudy Gobert
His elite size and wingspan impressed me even if he was a lil bit raw way back in the draft. Utah made a good choice.

2014 - Marcus Smart
I felt that the 2013-14 was soft and needed some toughness and emotional leader. Then, kaboom! Smart fell in our lap.

2015 - Montrelz Harrell
Quite undersize but I thought he can good as a poor man's Ben Wallace.

2016 - Buddy Hield
I know our backcourt was loaded with guards but I wanted a shooter. Hield was having a good season after he got traded to the Kings.

Well, I don't recall them all...but... I did lust after such luminaries as exum , bender, and Dunn.

Anyone want my insights in this draft?  ;D

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Going back to '07:
Glen Davis(literally read one SI profile saying he was a great sleeper pick and was all aboard the big baby Davis train lol)
Chalmers
Collison
No one stood out.
Faried
Sully/PJ III
Schroeder
Smart, wanted mcBuckets at 17 but that was obviously delusional
Winslow/RHJ
Gary Payton III
