Does NOP say no to this?

Jaylen Brown
2017 Pick 1
2018 Brooklyn (Pick 1-5)
Memphis Pick (2019)
Jae Crowder
Avery Bradley (sub in Marcus Smart and Tyler Zeller should NOP desire Smart over Bradley)

That squad is a healthy looking team, could be:
PG: Fultz
SG: Bradley
SF: Brown
PF: Porter Jr.
C: Cousins

Bench: Crowder, Ajinca, Moore, etc.

Not to mention Max FA they could entice.

Anthony Davis was nearly a 30/12 guy last year.  Those guys don't exist.

If the C's had Davis, would you want to trade him for a bag of prospects (only one known but unproven) and a couple of good rotation players?   I wouldn't do it unless I thought I was going to lose him for nothing down the road.  In that case, I'd let the C's start the bidding.

Pelicans don't answer the phone until Davis starts being vocally displeased with the team missing the playoffs. That's when Danny gets in the driver seat
