Italy - Serbia 5-0

More than 5 mins have passed without Serbia scoring

Well if they score a few more goals quickly they have a chance, although Italy's back line is still quite strong.

With less than 2 mins left, Serbia seems to get a comfortable win.

Outside Belinelli and Datome, Italy had no offense.

So, the pairs are Spain-Slovenia and Russia-Serbia.

Sorry for Greece, mate.

Italy, as expected, was too thin to compete against the best teams and lacked any interior presence. The semifinals will be HUGE.

Spain has been in ten semifinals in a row. That's insane.

10 mins to go

This is the most excited I have been for a Eurobasket game this year.

Update: 19-25 for Slovenia. Good start for Slovenia, but Spain had a slow start in other games too.

update 2: Slovenia continues being good. Prepelic is complaining too much to the refs tho.

Dončić drool...
So much change of pace in his creation and that height is lovely.
49:45 for Slovenia at halftime.

Update: 28 mins
Slovenia up by 16.

wow

16 points is a lot, but if any team is capable of a comeback now it is Spain.

Spanish team doesnt seem to have the confidence to comeback

update Too bad Dragic said this is his last Eurobasket. Meanwhile, my Russian commentators sound excited to play with Slovenia in the Finals.

Slovenia had a great team effort for 3 quarters. And so far in 4th it's Goran Dragic show. He's a sneaky good point guard. And to me it's seems that Spain lacks a playmaker/scorer on a wing. I'm so happy we got Hayward, because I think Celtics were lacking such player as well last year.

Final score Spain 72 Slovenia 92

Feels unfair for Spain to get eliminated after losing only one game.

Hope Darío will be satisfied with the bronze

Agreed Stes, Dragic was great.

I'd be more than satisfied with the bronze. This generation has given us nothing but pride and good results.

However, time takes its toll and Gasol/Navarro are 37, Marc/Rudy are 32 and the fact of three injuries in the same position (Rudy, Llull and Abrines) have been harmful to our chances.

Slovenia is extremely talented, although my impression is we could have abused them inside. Too many games for the Gasols' legs in few days.

Sad to see Pau like this.. but you can't beat time. I too expected Spain to destroy slovenia in the paint. Considering the injuries and the age of the top players Spain did good. Now it's rebuild time. Replacing Pau won't be easy!

I would like Serbia to qualify. SLO Vs SRB will be huge. I don't think Russia is on the same level..

As you said, 10 semis in the row, who could have expected more.
An amazing generation that lasted so long, that it enabled Spain to produce their successors.
Gasol will go down in a Sabonis tier of European greats, them as two of the greatest European centers in the modern era (since the 3pt shot).

I would like to see Slovenia vs Serbia in the finals, with Slovenia being my favorite to win.
