At this stage, there are only teams I like and teams I don't.

I had a look on betting sites and these are the favourites they give too.

Among the outsiders, the most likely to make an upset are Finland, Russia and Greece (in this order), followed by Germany and Montenegro. And then you have Turkey, Ukraine and Hungary - which are  very unlikely.

Odds apart, I will watch Turkey-Spain unless it becomes a blow-out. Having the crowd on your side is a significant bonus in Eurobasket, although Turkey's roster is obviously weak.

He won't be asked to play a lot anyway ....

People here should stop overestimating European players especially when they can't watch them actually play

Can you give some positives that he did? I'm really intrigued with his potential as a cheap 3rd stringer.

He posterized Diaw at one point.

Boris Diaw in 31m had 15p (6/8)  9r 5ass 26 efficiency.....

Theis has been amazing today. Doing the little things (screens, good positioning) and the stat line is impressive, apart from the monster dunk.

I didn't think he would play minutes with us, but if he keeps this way...he may shut my mouth. I wish.

However, he's had a busy summer and now training camp is coming. I don't know if rookies are prepared for an NBA season without much rest.
