Big downgrade for me from the #1 pick to #3. Was told Ainge looking for a "Brooklyn type fleece" to get deal done. Let's see if that happens

In current parameters, BOS would receive several picks and no players, sources say.  Have to think No. 3 would be involved.

Assuming no players are involved in the deal, would you trade down with the Sixers?

Chris Webber was right?

I dont hate moving down for either. Both terrific talents in their own right. There just needs to be some real value coming our direction.

I trust Ainge.

2.

1) The Celtics trading future  Joe Barry Carroll for Robert Parrish and future Kevin McHale
2) The Magic trading future Chris Webber for future Penny Hardaway and 4 future role players.

The last top-five pick to be traded before its selection was in 2008, when the Celtics traded future Jeff Green to Seattle for Ray Allen.

Was the Mayo for Love trade done after they were selected?

Yes, but neither went #1.  Between that and drafting Thabeet at #2 it's a minor miracle that the Grizzlies have remained a competitive team in the aftermath of those moves.

I truly believe Danny would trade the opportunity to draft AD for a similar deal.  I really thinks he likes accumulating picks to minimize his horrible draft history.

I voted for "Only if the Sixers add another first as well."

PHI 18, LAL 18, SAC 19 + 2017 #3

More favorable of PHI 18 and LAL 18 plus SAC 19 sounds good too though.

Id let Fultz go reluctantly for 3 plus TWO unprotected firsts .

But ,  im hearing the deal is ONLY one First plus the 2017 3 rd .......

no way . ....i d do this

I think DA will end up with Tatum ....Fultz and Jackson picked 1-2 and Lakers 2018 1st.

Hell no I won't go! Philly 18 could be poop! They almost had a chance at the playoffs this season!! NO.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
