While we are busy making lists, mock drafts/top 10 NBA, let's make another one  :D.

The question is who do you reckon to be the most talented small forwards up to the age of 24. So while we can expect that Leonard (25), George (27), Butler (27) and Hayward (27) will be dominant SF's for a long time, I consider them of a different generation.

Who will follow in their footsteps? Of course you pick the players you think will eventually reach the highest level and not who is current best. I have listed (though rather sloppy  >:() the players in the NBA that regularly play minutes at SF. I also named the most promising SF's for the upcoming draft. Feel free to name them in your top 10 ranking as well. I'm especially interested where Jaylen Brown will end.

Player - Position - Age - Team - Minutes - Points - Assists - Rebounds
Harrison Barnes   SF    24   DAL   35.5   19.2   1.5   5.0

OMG, I see a SF drought coming.  What a disappointing list, especially the active players.  TP, RodyTur10.

When you look at the overall most talented players under 25, the main thing that jumps out is that the leading candidates are mostly bigs.  That's good news for those decrying the lack of the quality big man in our league.

Interestingly, the list of young guards with star potential looks even more sparse than the small forward list above.

Luckily, I don't think it's a signal of a lack of talent coming in as much as a signal that there is so much talent among the adults in the league that kids can't just come in after one or two years of college and dominate.

These youngsters are still "prospects" while on their rookie contracts even though they are getting paid.

Anyway, here's my list of top overall NBA players under 25:

1.  Giannis Antetokounmpo
2.  Anthony Davis
3.  Karl Towns
4.  Joel Embiid (?)
5.  Rudy Gobert
6.  Nikola Jokic
7.  Jabari Parker
8.  Bradley Beal
9.  Myles Turner
10.  Andre Drummond
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I agree with Celtics18 that there are not a lot of promising guards in the league. Therefore I believe that Rozier and Smart could be very valuable players for the future and even more so that Fultz could be a very special and unique player as a PG in comparison to his competition.

We shouldn't take our collection of guards for granted and trade severable of them for 3rd string bigs. I hope that we keep most of them and sign one of these great big man prospects (just mentioned) in 2020/2021 on the free agent market.

Parker is cooked after all those acl tears. I'd take him off the list

And Drummond doesn't deserve to be on that list too. Probably the most overrated player in the NBA. Detroit fans can't stand him.

Maybe you can place Simmons, Porzingis or Booker in stead?

Also, can we please go back to my request for a top 10 ranking of SF prospects  ;) ?
