I believe Penny prior to the injuries was the 2nd/3rd best point guard of all time.

1. Magic
2/3. Penny/Oscar Robertson

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I read this and this is some of the best sarcasm
I 've seen on the board.   Stockton is up there, too.

I said prior to the injuries. To put it another way, if he had had no major injuries throughout his career, imo he would have become the 2nd/3rd best point guard of all time.

I don't buy it.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

If DA palns to trade down I would expect a lot more top 10 workouts.
Did we even had any other then Fultz?

Webber was 20
Hardaway 22
Fultz turn 19 a month ago.

Difficult to compare value between those 3.

But in 1993 it makes sense to take Webber at #1. More potential with 2 extra years of nba development.
Nowadays, they are all 18. Impossible to predict what they will become.
As for Fultz, the good thing is that he already has a high floor.

I think you have to be getting Davis or LeBron back if you're trading Fultz away. Porzingis might make the list as well.

Ainge is always high on the high school stud. Fultz was somewhat late to that category but he fits what Ainge sees as a guarantee.  Most highly ranked high school studs almost never fail in the league.
