I am close on the back half, but can't give Markelle a high rank just yet, no data.  Also, not sold on Towns:

Davis
Irving
Towns
Griffin
Wall
Rose
Fultz
Wiggins
Simmons
Bennett

I value production over potential, as its tangible and more objective. Kyrie is a superstar. So is Davis and potentially KAT, though both get knocked down a little til their play leads to wins. Derrick Rose is the only MVP on this list and has had a bad string of injuries. I think John Wall has the potential to do what Westbrook did this year. Simmons and Fultz get incompletes until they play one minute, and Bennett lucked out by being in a bad draft.

no idea yet

Fultz
Simmons

not worthy of listing
Bennett

Wall is far better than Irving IMO because he actually passes the ball and plays defense too.

I don't get so many putting Irving ahead of Wall.  Wall is just flat out better
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Finally someone giving the deserved love to pre injury D-Rose.  TP.  Before those injuries he was the clear number two on this list.

Top Tier Franchise Cornerstones

Davis
Irving
Wall
Towns

Not quite franchise cornerstones due to various defects, but still quite good:

Griffin
Wiggins
Rose

Too early to say

Simmons
Fultz

Total disaster

Bennett

So 4 out of 8 of the past picks (50%) are franchise cornerstone level players. 3 out of 8 (37.5%) are in the second tier and 1 out of 8 (12.5%) is a complete bust. The odds that we get a franchise cornerstone are quite good.

I think it's too soon to tell on most, but AD is the clear #1. Towns will probably be second. Rose is the only MVP, but his prime is also probably the shortest. Bennett was a bust, Simmons should be solid, Wiggins is good. Blake is close the top when healthy, but he's missed a lot of games over the years.

I do think Fultz will be better than Kyrie. Maybe it's my green shades, but I feel his size and underrated athleticism will possibly make him as good/better than Irving AND Wall.

Is this ranking supposed to be based on outcome or standing as prospects?
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I dunno.  Even, on this thread, he got some early votes but then plummeted.  Lots of skills but hasn't proven a lot yet.
