Just so we're clear here. Everyone here realizes that Andrew Wiggins isn't good right?

He's a homeless man's Demar DeRozan.
Nonsense. Wiggins has improved his 3 point shot, and his game as a whole since he came into the league. Derozan can't shoot 3s much at all.

Wiggins is 22 years old, and he's a superb athlete. He's not at his ceiling yet. He's well ahead of where a guy like Jimmy Butler was at this stage of his career.

He scores at below average efficiency, plays no defense and doesn't create for others on offense. But hey, he jumps high!

Trades like these are measured by team results, not player careers and numbers.   The Cavs won a title with Love and that's the only measure that matters really.  If Wiggins becomes the next Lebron and wins  a bunch of titles then sure, but as of now, the Cavs were better off making the trade.

As the saying goes, Titles are forever.

It is hard to imagine he wouldn't be developing/look better playing alongside Irving, Lebron and Thompson instead of fellow 21-23 year olds that are awful at defense like Towns, Lavine, Muhammed etc. Also he would definitely be more efficient better looks alongside those two.

Have we not seen enough of these guys flame out with good mentors to know that's bunk?
