I didn't see a thread for this topic so starting one.  Games start in about 3 weeks:
http://www.nba.com/summerleague/

Looks like the C's will participate in Utah and Las Vegas, not but Orlando.

Celtics possible starting five:
Fultz, Nader, Brown, Yabusele, Zizic
6th man: D.Jackson

I thought Yabu wasn't playing summer league due to injury?

I find it interesting that Jordan Mickey is listed as "likely".  I see no future for him on the Celtics, though he's got a bit of talent (good shot blocker).

I wonder who the "walk-ons" will be.  Has there ever been a case of one of those guys making the team?

His contract is non-guaranteed, right? In which case it's likely we won't pick it up, and he's essentially playing for us as a free agent, in hopes of landing somewhere else.

It's too bad he's not shown us more, we could use exactly that kind of player in our rotation.

Best name in basketball though.  I really wish this guy would have made it.

How much of an opportunity has he really had though?  He's been stuck behind some quality vets, and with the possibility of losing Amir, Jonas, and Zeller I wouldn't mind giving him another look.

He's still what 21 years old, and I thought he outplayed Yabu in the D league when they were both there.  I'm not saying I'm some huge fan of his, but maybe worth another look.

Bumping this thread so it shows up on Latest Forum Topics again due to crickets...

Personally, I'm pretty excited to see our new young pups, and Jaylen too.  I hope he tears up SL.

Dionte  Christmas -- Temple

All A-10 three years
career Temple 2043 points 4th highest in school history and most three pointers in school history

Was a SL monster for C's. Was he cut last week of camp?

He has been on no fewer than 13 separate rosters the world over since 2010.
Last year on Delaware 87'ers.

Dude will not quit.

Besides C's who has a good SL roster?
