This draft is deep but there are suppose to be only 4 "special" guys in this draft.. 4 Franchise changers.. For us to have the #1 over all pick and send it away for the #5 pick seems like a serious mistake.

Draft the #1 prospect and trust CBS to make the kid flourish...  His track record so far with guys with less tools is amazing..  What he can do with Fultz could be mind blowing..  Why is this happening to us right now!!!

I think the likely explanation is that the Kings called the Fultz's agent and said that they were willing to make a god father offer to the Celtics but they needed a workout before they would.  I wouldn't read any of the Celtics intentions into this.

It could be one of those draft day contingency scenarios where if the guy the Celtics want , maybe Tatum, falls to 5 then th Kings take him and make th deal for Fultz.

So I saw on another thread that he's doing a workout in Sacremento but it's not for the Kings, I think this is where the confusion is.
