Imagine if the Cavs get smoked again and Embiid and Simmons have great seasons.

LeBron could be playing for titles again from 33 to 38 riding on the backs of the next Superstar's.

I propose they trade Saric for Bradley and either draft the BPA Jackson or Go with fit in Foxx.

Simmons and LeBron are basically PGs so a team with Bradley and Jackson in the starting five could work.

 Embiid
 LeBron
 Josh Jackson
 Bradley
Simmons

 Or better fit lineup.

 Embiid
 Simmons
 LeBron
 Bradley
 Fox

Either way impressive talent level going forward.

They would still lose to GSW and wouldn't get by the future Celtics!

 Are you sure about that?

 Horford
 Crowder
 Hayward
 Fultz
 Thomas

And that's if we get Hayward.

That's going to be The Celtics in two years? Need an upgrade at power forward...

Hayward
Brown
Fultz

Do Saric and JB count for nothing? I doubt Crowder would start at PF.

Embiid did try to recruit Lebron when he was a free agent.

Is it me or do a lot of posters think Jaylen is going to be riding the bench for another year or 2 as a 20mpg player??

Good stuff, KG.

It's fascinating to ponder the possibilities.

I never would've thought of this but what you propose may be exactly the way, and likely the only way, an aging LeBron can keep his chances of winning more titles alive, by riding the coattails of the next generation of presumptive super stars.

I think the time where he's going to need more help from others than he's able to provide for them is much closer than anyone suspects, HGH or not.

As Liam suggests, let's keep the faith that, in the very near future, the Cs are going to be perfectly ready, willing and more than able to bring The King's reign to an end, regardless.

Just a feeling, but I don't think it's gonna be that long.
