Philly needs a starting point guard (they had McConnell/Sergio Rodriguez running the point this year). At the same time, there have been plenty of rumors that they are interested in Bradley.

#1 + Bradley for #3 + Saric + Lakers 2018 unprotected first + Sacramento 2019 unprotected first

Would the Sixers do it? More importantly, would the C's do it?

My goodness, enough about Saric.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I like Saric and think he would be a good fit on the team but this all comes down to if Danny believes Fultz has the ability to be a future super star. If he does than you don't trade him if you don't think he can become one than you listen to trades.

For Philadelphia it's a great result, but also a lot to give up. But they have to if you want a nr. 1 pick. For Boston I think it's fair trade value, but also a risky move. With Fultz you're guaranteed an elite talent.

How the Lakers' (no incentive to tank) and Kings' pick turn out is a big question mark. And it's unlikely that Saric or the 3rd pick (say Jackson, Isaac or Tatum) will grow into a big star.

So in the end I'd say it's certainly a fair offer, but I still wouldn't do it. An offer with Simmons included in stead of Saric would make Boston roll the dice. But then the Celtics would arguably role out as the big winner of the trade (so unrealistic).

I would only do that trade if Bradley weren't included, and even then I'd hesitate.  Huge difference between #1 and #3 in this draft.

Yeah, I think the only reason to do a trade like this is if you think Jackson or Tatum are just as good as Fultz. If you do think then, what are you seeing that no one else seems to see? If you don't think that, I don't want to pass up a chance at a true superstar. It's too rare.

I think there is too much difference between 1 and 3 in this draft, although if we are moving forward, those future picks will be very valuable. So I don't think Pilly does it, but also Boston wouldn't move the possibility to draft Fultz. It's a fair trade that neither team would do, TP for the idea.

If IT was included instead of Bradley, I think I'd pull the trigger being Boston.

No way I do that trade. Losing Fultz isn't worth the Lakers' pick + Jackson or Tatum. The Lakers pick might wind up #7 or so. No guarantee it helps us get someone like Ayton or Doncic.

I don't think Philly does that trade.  Both the Lakers and Kings pick easily could end up in the top 3 and while I'm sure they would love Fultz, I don't think they see a ton of difference between him and Fox, Jackson, Tatum, or maybe even Ball falls.  If your the Sixers you probably rate 3 and Saric as about equal value to 1 and there is no way Bradley is worth both the Lakers and Kings picks (at least that is what I would be thinking if I was them).

I think Ainge would probably do that trade if he liked Jackson or Tatum enough and he feels comfortable that a max level free agent is walking through the door because that trade opens up space to do that all while basically eliminating Boston's roster construction problems (by adding a big for a small and then still having a high draft pick).  Plus the two future picks could be highly valuable much like the BKN picks have been.  It gives Ainge some more flexibility long term to continue the current path of trying to win now and in the future because those are likely high value future picks and you just plug Saric into Olynyk's role and save a bunch of cash by doing so.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

In my opinion, the thing that this team needs least is more draft picks.

I mean, yes. There's a point where you just can't say no. Saric , #3, and two likely lottery picks is a ton of value. AB probably has to go anyway, and I don't think we'd get more value separating out AB and the pick separately.

If Danny trades Fultz, he has concluded that he is not going to be a future all NBA player.

If he is given offers like the Philly proposal on this thread and declines, it's because he believes Fultz is going to be special.

Here's hoping to Fultz being special!!

The slight caveat: he could have also concluded that #3 is likely to be an all-NBA player, similar to the Penny Hardaway + #1s deal for Chris Webber.
