I'm no cap expert but I'm wondering how GSW can keep its team together past this year? As far as I can tell, in 2017-18:

Klay: 17.8
Draymond: 16.4
Steph (FA): 36 (super max)
KD (FA) 30

That's 100.2Mn on 4 players. Isn't the cap at 101?

Then at 2018-19:
Klay: 18.9 (expiring)
Draymond: 17.5
Steph: 38.7 (just a guess)
KD: 32.3 (just a guess)

That's 107.4 on 4 players. I don't know what the new cap will be but I assume it'll probably be around that range too? Around 108 maybe?

Essentially they go over the cap with exceptions and pay the luxury tax.  KD has already hinted he will sign a contract that doesn't require cap space so that a couple of key free agents can re-sign.  They'll run into trouble in the summer of 2019 when Klay comes off the books, but this team will be able to keep all of its key players for a couple more seasons.

Joe Lacob has Silicon Valley money.

Yes, but I ran the numbers on a lark yesterday, and if they keep everyone they're looking at $370 million salary+tax bill in three seasons, and a $670 million (not a typo) cap+tax bill in four seasons.  So I think Klay departs when his contract ends after two more years.
