Thomas to the Nets for three future first rounders, unprotected. To the Brooklyn Nets.

It's no fun to think about life without a Nets pick. So the Nets trade for the third leading scorer in the league. And sign Olynyk to the Max, and hope for the best.

Perfect IT trade is no IT trade.

Also, I know this is a joke, but still a really bad trade for Boston. Billy King doesnt run the Nets anymore and IT would probably keep them outside the top 10 next year.

..Huh?

You won't trade IT for anything? He's 5-7

In my book, a perfect trade has got to be realistic. I dont see any realistic IT trades where we come out on top.

IT + Memphis 2019 first + rights to Zizic for Myles Turner

That's a perfect IT trade in my book. 8)

Hopefully, PG tells the Pacers to trade for IT in order for him to sign an extension.

Between IT's expiring contract, his injury, his low annual salary and his greater value on the Celtics due to his free agent attacting presence, I don't see any way he can be traded while getting back fair value. If you trade an All-NBA player, 2 time All-Star, top 3 scorer in the league you had best be getting a player that is at that level or will grow to that level.

As has been said, at the moment the perfect IT trade is to not do an IT trade.

Why are we giving up a valuable first and another player who would likely go in the lottery along IT in this deal? I like Turner and could convince myself that a IT/Turner swap was the best thing for this franchise moving forward, but it almost sounds like you are trying to dump him.

Thomas is really good and he would be Indy's ticket to keeping George. That would be humongous!

Because imo there is no way they trade Turner for IT straight up.

In all honesty, I don't see the Pacers having any interest in this deal. As much as I'd love us to trade for Turner, I think the whole idea is a pipe dream.

The other team that is prime for an IT4 trade are the Mavericks.
Gotta give Dirk some good remaining years.

IT4 for that 7th pick sounds pretty nifty.

The Mavs have the 9th pick.

The 7th pick belongs to the Wolves. According to rumors, Thibs may be willing to trade Rubio to the Knicks for Courtney Lee. If that's the case, I guess IT would be a good fit for them next to Lee.

A name to watch in all of this is New York’s Courtney Lee. There has been talk that the Wolves and Knicks could get together on a Lee for Ricky Rubio swap. It’s unclear if the Wolves would include the seventh pick in a deal, but the Wolves seem ready to move on from Rubio and the Knicks continue to be the team mentioned as a likely destination.

I stand corrected.
IT4 for the 9th pick still sounds pretty nifty

Don't think a team will give up a top 10 pick with him injured. I'm guess Bucks deal is possible though.

Thon Maker and pick 17 for Thomas.

If we are going youth movement I pull that trigger. Plus IT on Bucks would be the only must watch team in the east besides Cavs.

I would offer him straight up for Wiggins, win now veteran checked for Minny, young star for us but I doubt they would do it.

Trading IT doesn't give free agents any confidence in coming
