Just throwing a few ideas out there..

Who says NO to the lakers trading #2 and Deng or Mozgov to Kings for #5 and #10?
If the Lakers have soared on Ball this deal at least allows them to move a bad contract.

Does it make more sense for the 76ers to try to trade #3 + a future pick to the kings for #5 and #10 in order to draft their back court? Monk at #5 and Ntilika/Mitchell at #10 seem like the idea backcourt if Simmons is playing the point and defending the SF or PF.

Also do the 76ers auction Okafor off the the highest draft pick on draft night? Does any one other then the Bulls at #16 or the Pacers at #18 make an offer?

Do the Nets do the same thing and offer up Lopez for the highest pick?

How about:

Lakers offer #2, Russell, Ingram, Deng + Mozgov to the Thunder for Westbrook + Adams

OKC goes into full rebuild mode, but receives a nice pile of high upside prospects for Westbrook. Also giving up Adams ain't too bad, with his contract it's unsure if he's actually a plus valuewise. With the new roster OKC won't be an interesting free agent destination so they can deal with having to pay Deng and Mozgov for 3 more years. Their future lays in the hands of the #2 pick, Russell, Oladipo, Abrines, McDermott, Ingram, Grant, Sabonis, Kanter. Also the 1st rounder they owe Utah is lottery protected for '18 to '20, so tanking will also be beneficial.

For the Lakers it's all about having Westbrook to attract a top free agent in 2018. The Lakers have room for a max contract (and another role player, maybe Barton). George comes to mind as a main target. The core will consist of Westbrook, Clarkson, Barton, George, Nance Jr, Randle, Adams and Zubac. They can resign Randle (and in 2019 Nance Jr and Zubac) to go over the (soft) cap. They will be one the best teams in the West with that team. Of course they have given up Russell, Ingram and #2, but Russell and Ingram haven't made the start of their careers like the Lakers would've hoped.

Wolves and Bulls trade.

Rubio, LaVine, rights to 7th pick, and 2018 first for Butler.

I would suspect the Bulls would want more then that for Butler based on the rumors of what they where asking the Cs to trade for him. The Bulls are in a weird place right now as it looks like Rondo and Wade are both coming back. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bulls role back the team from last year only resigning players to 1 year deal and become huge players in 2018 FA lead by Butler. If NO is a mess maybe they make a push for Cousins?
