Portland has the 15th pick and a couple picks in 20s

New York has the No. 8 overall pick, and members of the organization have been exploring the possibility of acquiring an additional pick later in the first round, per sources.

Knicks worked out justin jackson, bam adebayo, tony Bradley, derrick white

I think teams are crazy to sleep on Bam. He's Dwight Howard .5 meaning not as good, but he's got a 40" vertical. That's insane.

He's good. He will rock solid.

I think justin Jackson is gonna be really solid especially if his 3 point shot is legit

Yeah, I'm a big Justin Jackson fan. Might be my binkie of the draft.

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan

Aren't there two Justin Jackson's in the draft?  Which are you speaking of?

EDIT:  Nevermind, didn't realize one withdrew last week.

Not clear what Portland would be getting back.  Being well into luxury tax they can't afford to take on additional salary.

I would think Portland would be dumping bad money.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Apparently they want to package their pick to save money. Mo Harkless was mentioned in the article I read.

I've already posted that they are going to have to give up 1st round pick(s) to dump salary.  This is written like it was the Knicks that initiated the discussion.  If the Blazers are looking to dump salary, they need to open it up to get the best deal and hopefully dump more salary than Harkless.

I agree. The best center in the draft. Didn't get the opportunity to fully show what he's capable of by the fast pace and chucking up shots by Kentucky's guards. He's like a biyombo with post up skills.

Yeah Harkless would not be the first name that would come up if I wanted to dump salary. That contract actually isn't even that terrible. Harkless is young and could still improve his game.

It's Crabbe, Turner and Leonard who they should wanna get rid of. Like FCO said, the Nets just make so much sense as a trading partner.

He's got bad hands, feet, and doesn't have the work ethic nor motor to warrant any interest on my part, not that that means anything, lol ;D.

As for the rest of the thread, I'd kill to have Portland's 3 first rounders, but I'm not sure how to get them.  Horford for Ezeli and Quarterman works, but then again the Blazers are looking to save money, so forget that, I guess :-\.  Sigh.
