If danny has a wink wink agreement with Hayward how about Crowder, Jackson, a few seconds for 12?

I'd even throw in next years first for that too. Helps with some cap space

Link to this rumor?

I'd consider it but we MUST know we're getting Hayward already.

Idk if Dallas want Crowder back though... he did play for DAL before being traded here. Not sure he fits their "win now veteran" and I highly doubt Crowder is worth a lottery pick at this point (considering what DAL received in the trade - like 4-5 months of Rondo, that's it).

Doubt they throw in Johnson, but contractually and positionally Bradley makes more sense than Crowder to trade despite Bradley being the better player
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I think you're confusing Detroit with Dallas ;)

Not sure he alone is. We have enough to juice the offer though. Crowder Boston '18 and some 2nds might be enough.

I'd really like to keep AB, but I think AB and Boston '18 for 12 surely is enough.

It looks like contracts would have to come back.  If they could be rerouted to another team, that could help the Celtics get under the threshold to go after one of the big contract FA.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
If indeed Gordon Hayward will be a sure fire signing, I'd be willing to give Jae Crowder and one of our 2nds for that #12 pick.

That puts us within the Justin Patton range, who's a very solid athlete for a 7 footer than can develop into a legit big man.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

Yeah, Detroit's cap situation is horrible.  They really need someone to take Reggie Jackson from them.  Otherwise they can have win-now veteran Terry Rozier.

You're seriously underestimating Crowder and over estimating the value of the 12th pick and Stanley Jackson.   12 gets you a big man who won't contribute for several years, if ever, and Jackson hasn't developed much at all and is redundant with Brown.

Marcus is ready to "win now"!

Seriously, I'd have to know who is available at #12 before considering an offer.
