PG:Fultz
SG:Jaylen Brown
SF:Ingram
PF:
C:Ayton
Fultz will be our PG and Jaylen will already have blow up. Depending what DA does we could also have another top pick in 2018 (our own)
I guess that I'm a little slow, here, but why all the fuss about this guy? I didn't see it last year and nothing has since changed my mind. Sure, he's long, but he has Kyle Anderson-like quickness and is a beanpole, lol . I'm sure that I'm wrong about him, as usual, but what am I missing with this dude? I'm asking you because you seem to be the biggest advocate for getting him, btw .
his draft profile had him look like next KD. his numbers last year were bad though
Yeah, I disagreed with those profiles, hence the question. He just looked way too slow to me, but I'm weird like that, haha .
Durant comparison? When I was following him (when he was a soph, and driving everyone crazy his comparison was T-mac..i beliieve...though he is much longer than T-mac. Comparisons are somewhat useless.
I honestly don't know if this is a troll. I'm sticking with what I've said about him and if you just look at his rookie numbers ( and thats all) then do some more reasearch. I expected him to have a difficult time in his first season due to his bofy type (very thing) and his extremely young age( almost 1 year younger than most rookies).
He's much longer than Anderson and more athletic. They are not even close. He is somone who can defend 4 positions and also almost had a few triple doubles this year. He played PG, SG, and SF...probably some PF as well.
He is much much better than his rookie numbers. His numbers should jump exponentially for next year.
Gee thanks (sarcasm)
. I'm not trolling at all, it was an honest question, and I'm not going by his numbers, either, I'm going off of what I've seen. In terms of leaping ability, sure, I guess that he's better than Anderson, but he's only marginally better than the latter in terms of agility, imo, which I tend to think is more important when it comes to having to guard a number of different players.
What are these positions that he can defend, btw? Granted, he has long arms, but I don't see how he can stay with any point guard, he'll get caught on picks going up against shooting guards and small forwards, who, if they're strong enough, can eat him alive, inside, not to mention any power forward/center who can actually post up. Is there a particular performance of his that I should watch in order to come away with what you see in the guy, btw? Just asking.
Edit: I watched some Ingram highlights last night and I stand corrected. Sorry about that. I still don't think he's got quickness on the level of McGrady or Durant, but he's solid in that department. He looked slower than molasses going up a hill in January when he was at Duke, though, lol
