Danny isn't touching griffin. He confirmed this

I missed this. What did he say?

Says he wont go for 2nd or 3rd best available guy at a position in free agency. I took that as not going for someone like griffin

Okay, so who is the best available PF/C in Free Agency this summer?
Hayward. We already have a max big in Horford. We don't need  griffin

Stevens and Danny should noth be in Utah at the strike of midnight. Bring PP, KG, IT, Fultz and Horford with them.

You forgot Tom Brady. No free agent meeting can be had without Tom Brady front and center.

Bring in David Ortiz too. I'm telling you, if we had Ortiz as well, we'd have KD by now...  :(

But now Ortiz is retired and available!

Oh, I didn't view Hayward as the PF/C. Griffin and Hayward play different positions for the most part.

you look at a frontline of Al Horford and a handful of rookies and have concluded that we need help on the wing?

really?

no one views Hayward as a PF/C. He is a wing, not a big. We badly need bigs.

yes. The new NBA is position-less and gives preference 3pt shooting wings. The milsaps, griffins, and deandre Jordans of the world Arent getting it done

plan A : Hayward
plan B : Millsap (2 or 3 years)
plan C : extend IT-Bradley-Smart

are you trying to get a monopoly on posts that dont contain logic?

Thomas, Bradley, Crowder, Brown, Fultz, Smart, Stevens towers over Atlanta's supporting cast and if you make each move based on whether or not it gets you a title then you wont make a single move this offseason

firstoff, it baffles me that you believe we dont need big man help after watching this team get slaughtered on the boards.

second, that is by no means a "confirmation" its pure speculation from you.

No matter what we do we aren't beating the Cavs. And on the off chance we do, we aren't beating the Warriors with their 4 all-stars and 2 MVPs.

Millsap makes the C's a clear-cut favorite to win the 2nd seed in the East. That's exactly what we are going to accomplish with Hayward instead of Millsap.

Hayward, Noel and Millsap. Griffin is staying in LA

Noel is an RFA.

Any chance Danny tries to sign the BPA and then trades someone else for assets?  Hear me out. Let's say that Danny thinks Kyle Lowry is the best player out there and convinces him to sign saying that IT  and Bradley are getting traded. Then he trades those two for Jabari Parker and Tony Snell.

I'm not suggesting that's the best or most likely trade. But I wonder if Danny looks at this offseason as a chance to just gain an asset. So let's get the best asset available regardless of fit and then figure out the roster shuffling later. He could get an All Star quality player without giving up a single asset!  So why not max that opportunity out?
