Zizic will come and compete for the 5 spot.
We're going to sign Hayward.
And then we're going to see who we can get for the exception.

Dunno depends on what veteran bigs are available on the open market who want to ring chase with us.

Maybe Taj Gibson or Patrick Patterson?

I wonder how Ainge and co view this draft.  If they aren't sold on one player being head and shoulders above the rest, why not trade down to Philly's spot at 3 and get Saric in return?  I think it was Bill Simmons who suggested that plus the 2018 Lakers pick, which is unprotected.

#1 for #3, Saric, and LA 2018?  I wouldn't pass that up.

Or just take someone at #1 and hope to acquire a big through trade or free agency.

Jackson loves Crowder.  Maybe you can work a deal that brings back Herangomez?

Aaron Baynes seems like he'd fill a need and is available I think

I wouldn't mind signing Blake Griffin & Willie Reed and rolling out with the big man rotation of Al Horford, Blake Griffin, Ante Zizic, and Willie Reed, with Crowder playing the 4 sometimes in small line-ups.

I dunno about all those but I think you get the idea.

You put them in a good order.  Among that list, T.Gibson might be my 1st choice.  2nd choice would be Faried, M.Williams, J.Johnson.  Last would O"Quinn, but would not mind him to replace Zeller on the bench if everything else fails.

Covington, Chandler and Gay are too much like Crowder and Jaylen (3/4's), no thanks.

You can't be sure on this forum.   There are a lot of stupid posts floating out there around this time of year and draft fever hits.

Rudy Gay is an under-the-radar choice if the Celtics strike out on Hayward/Blake and the asking price for George or even Melo is too much.  He gets a lot of crap, but he can score and rebound at the 3-4 better than the Celtic's current options there.  Could be another Ainge reclamation.

Taj, O'Quinn, and Chandler are intriguing too; I could definitely see the former two signing.
