Make a trade for Nance or Holmes or Morris (Detroit) or F/A llasova
I have long like ilyasova but why are any of those other teams gonna just hand over their PFs?

Also KO is arguably the best of that bunch

Detroit has to pay Caldwell-Pope so that frees up money for him. Magic and Ainge can make a deal for Nance easily. Magic said only Ingram is off limits. 76ers well they are loaded at PF and C positions. llyasova is a F/A probably cost about 10m more consistent score and defender.

A(n) S&T as part of a larger trade package could work or to a team under the cap who wants to give us a draft pick of some sort?

Maybe as an S&T to the Knicks as part of a Melo deal. He'd fit in perfectly in the triangle.

Add Zeller (which is why he is here) for ballast and a couple of picks, and we should be able to get either O'Quinn or Hernangomez thrown in for good measure.

I think old Phil does that to dump/get from under Melo.

Ya KO is gone.  A 4/50 contract is dramatically less then what he will 100% be offered.

It s also more than his actual value.... But it's a free market... I wish I was little bit taller (the immortal words of Skee-lo)

No its not more then his actual value.  KO is going to be 26-30 years old (AKA: His Prime) during his next contract and he's a mobile 7 footer who can shoot incredibly well for his position.

He will get paid.. he is prototype big for how the league is going.

However bad you think KO is (he's not), hes going to play so much better over the next 4 years then he has with us over the last 4 years.  He will get paid and he is worth it.

Offensively he might be a prototype big.

But defensively he lacks the versatility that teams covet.

Though he has improved drastically since his rookie season, those shortcomings are too much for me to overlook, I've just seen him get torched on switch-offs way too many times. His sluggishness on the perimeter has led to many defensive collapses.

No Kelly, no Markkanen either.

Kelly vol. 2.

I'm hoping we somehow make a draft-night trade for Isaac.

I'm with most of the others here - I'd rather not see KO in green anymore. I think Utah actually makes a big run for him. Didn't they want him in the draft?

I am no longer interested in watch KO play bball for the Celtics, even with his big game 7 vs Washington.

I realize that the cap is increasing, but that doesn't mean I can't view "the going rate" for a mediocre player to be absurd. If I'm paying a guy $10+ million a year, he'd better show up more than once every week or two.

LOL

49 million to much................

Slow and inconsistent. Not good at any one skill....

Haven't we gone over this before?

I have an idea, lets sign this stiff so we handcuff the payroll......

Sounds about right! Not to mention they are gonna have tons of cap space when we 'll sign Hayward! 8) 8)

I'd give him the deal Gerald Green signed last off season. Both unreliable bench players that go off 5x a year.

I agree I dont want him back. Can get a better player for less.

Out of curiosity - who?

Mo Speights
Spencer Hawes
Ersan Illyasova
Spencer Hawes
Kris Humphries

And yes I don't mind bringing Bass back for a minimum.

They have similar level of talent to Olynyk and could come much cheaper.

"Doofus", lol!

Let Kelly & his short arms & small hands go.
We'll always have Game 7.
