i think it would cool to draft him and hold him for ransom. LOL,.....his old mams head would explode.
There would be some satisfaction in that, but only if it was universally agreed that Ball was the better player.
Since he is not, then that path may end up being a "gift" to the Lakers...and you know we don't want to do that!
It's my belief that since Fultz is the one who is considered the top prospect, that Danny will give him the honor he deserves as being the best...being selected number one in the draft. That instills pride in him, and shows that a team is valuing adding him to their roster, as opposed to the Ball situation...where he wants to be the spotlight and add to the Laker legacy.
Our best path...draft Fultz, and put the pressure on the Lakers to draft Ball or not. Let Magic sweat on whether or not this first pick of his reign will be a stud or a dud!
