Come on, I'd LOVE to see George in green!

Any rumors about Indy liking Tatum?

Ya I mean I would be surprised if we included the 3rd pick, that's a lot for a rental. Also we'd have to make salaries match or close to maintain max room. That means Bradley and Crowder are both likely gone in a deal, since they are the two highest paid players reasonably available.
Crowder and a non-Lottery 1 - maybe their's next year.
I don't know if we can do that salary-wise.  in terms of appropriate value without a guarantee he'll extend for us, that's about all I'd be comfortable paying

Sources: Boston, Indiana talks for Paul George had gained significant momentum, but sides are still apart on a possible deal.

I would be stunned (regardless of what the C's send) if Danny gets PG without assurance of a long-term commitment.  I think it would be throwing away assets which I don't think Danny will do.

You have to think George will agree to an extension if he's coming here. No way he'll be a rental with the picks and players we're giving up. Right? RIGHT?
if we get him for little cost, he's a rental.  if we pay quite a bit, we can only HOPE he's not a rental

Unless one is interested in the 2nd rounders, I think it is fair to say that Celtics fans can go to sleep now. Our war is over.

If Tatum stays, which I am not sure will happen, does that mean Hayward never comes to town? Does it mean Brown's future is as a SG? Does it mean Danny's preference in FA has been Blake Griffin all along?

If Danny can get Hayward here, he's not going to care we have Tatum or not.

We have to get rid of Bradley and Crowder. Those spots need talent upgrades.

I actually like every pick for their respective team so far. its weird because usually some team in the lottery does something stupid. Still time I suppose.

I hope we don't give up too much. If we did, let's hope there's assurance of a signing an extension.

Although, if we get PG, that would make it attractive for us to sign Blake Griffin, and that could make it attractive for PG to stay.

God, imagine being a Bulls fan.

No kidding. And our biggest "problem" is that we had the third pick.

Pagliuca says the Celtics have had their eyes on Tatum for a while.

Sounds like this has been AInge's guy all along.

Do people feel a bit better about the Philly trade now? If he was going to take Tatum all along, I'm glad we got the Lakers pick in addition to him.
