I think Indy will trade PG13 before he gets to free agency, so it might be a moot point, but how could we make the salary work if possible?

I am assuming we trade AB + IT for cap relief and young prospects on rookie deals and/or picks.

Hayward 25-30 mil
Horford 30 mil
Fultz 5 mil
Jaylen 5 mil
Smart 4.5 mil
Yabu.  3-4 mil
Zicic.  3-4 mil
Rozier  3 mil
Brk 18 5 mil

I know there is. Cap holds and such, but is this a plausible scenario?

I *think* we could do it this way:

1. Renounce all free agents, including KO;

2. Trade Rozier; don't take back salary;

3. Get Yabu to stay overseas;

4. Trade AB + Crowder + BRK 18 for PG13

5. Fill out roster with Zizic, Nader, #2s, vet minimums and room exception

EDIT: That's how we fit PG13 this season. I haven't done the max on signing George outright but I'm not sure that it's realistic.

It's very difficult to do (almost impossible, you have to fill the roster) and the team would be too unbalanced (George doesn't want to play PF).

Not a good idea.

I dont think its possible. You'd have to gut essentially the whole team. Max contracts to Horford, Hayward, and George would essentially be close to 100% of the cap space, with the added challenge of signing Hayward and George without their bird rights. Giving a max to Isaiah instead of George would be quite more feasible.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
It works fine but George will sign with the Lakers NO doubt about it.
