How much money could he command as a FA at this point? I'd love to have him on this squad if the price is reasonable. I think he'd be a great fit in Brad's system.

Given the health concerns, I'm guessing he'll get the minimum from someone.

I'd absolutely sign him.

Agreed.  Dude would be such a nice fit beside Horford.  He's such an underrated defender too.

He hasn't played in a year and a half. That's bad for rust, good for wear and tear.

As for his condition, Serena Williams had blood clots. Multiple NHL players had blood clots. The clots themselves are completely treatable. It's Bosh's medication that is a concern, and his doctors want to put him on a similar treatment pattern to what has worked successfully in other sports. Basically, he'd take the medication on a schedule to ensure it wasn't in his body at Game time.

This is %100 down to the doctors for me. If they think hes safe to play... sign him up.

i like him and everything says he would help in many ways.

BUT .....and its a BIG but.

i don't want him to be the first NBaa person to croak on the court and it be with the Celtics .

we seen too much sad situations already

for this I vote NO ......too much riisk ......he should go play golf and take it easy.

If he is cleared by multiple physicians to play and he wants to play it is absolutely his choice.  If he chooses to play I would sign him.  He would instantly make us better, he fits Brad's system, with Horford, KO, Zizic, and Bosh our inside play / rebounding would hopefully see a big improvement.

I really think that it's more complicated than that.  There was an excellent thread over at realgm discussing Bosh's case.  Most of the posters were physicians. It's really worth a read for those who are interested in his condition.

I can see a Bosh, Wade/Anthony and Lebron reunion for the Cavs on the horizon, 1 year cheap deal for Bosh to show he can stay healthy
