Really hate the way we lost this game. It was just dumb decision after dumb decision from the starters to the bench to the coaching. The dumb insistence on keeping AB and Rozier on Irving in the third when they could do nothing to stop him was a major part of this loss. Stevens has to get better at those adjustments. There was just no justification to continue with those matchups, even after bringing in Smart, the only guy to slow Kyrie down at times tonight.
The truth is this matters very little when he can get a switch whenever he wants and onto whoever he wants.

Doesn't seem like they've done it as much this series as last series. But Kyrie wasn't even trying to get the switches because he was taking all of our guards sans Smart with ease anyways.

But I definitely agree. I've never understood why most NBA teams always switch the screen every single time, even when they're not really forced to.

How can Smart be so bad taking it to the hoop?

Really disappointing guard defense from our guys tonight. That is the only thing at which we are elite.

Nice first half, I guess.

Its because he has no explosion. He cant get any vertical leaping off from one foot and hes slow. Its not enough just to be strong if a guy like Kyle Korver can stick to your hip.

Can't wait to watch the Warriors steam roll the Cavs.

Cavs will probably counter with Wade next year though.

Wade is toasted.

Wade isn't as good as JR smith now...

It's official. We're not winning anything with high school defense. Thanks, Brad, switch more. I want to see more LeBron against Jerebko iso.

Lol, TP ;D.

and thats ballgame

They play hard. But honestly they are still 2 superstars and maybe 2 years away.
No, they didn't. They played scared, lazy and dumb. At least when it mattered.

Exactly this.  Which is mind-boggling to me,  I can't wrap my head around that.  I don't mind that they lost, I care how they lost.  And it was clear as day that game was over before the end of the 3rd qtr.
This team seems to lose focus. Brad S is not very good in getting them back on track when they do.

He needs to lose a little weight. He needs the extra quickness

Why didn't we try to get a 5th and 6th on LBJ.

I'm so ready for Hayward in place of Crowder, get it done.

I hope the reporters pound this on CBS

why not PNR with the man LEbron is guard everytime....  say its horford. Have him drive on Lebron consistently

3rd quarter Kyrie killed the Celts (bc CBS plays Zeller)
4th quarter Lebron killed the Celts (bc CBS inability to exploit him on the defensive end)

starting backcourt:
Smart 1-9
AB 7-19

as bad as Crowder was, he was still 6-12 but for the life of me I figure out how

Golden State is a much better team.  It'll be interesting to see what happens.  And yeah, Cleveland will just continue to attempt to buy a championship.

I am proud of the way they played tonight. Just far too many turnovers in the 2nd half. I think they win the next game at home.

Our team played as well as they could.
The only answer to Kyrie tonight would have been IT. He was unstoppable on D.

Cant wait for the Gordon Hayward upgrade over Jae. He belongs as a bench energy 3 and D guy.

Hayward can handle the ball and make plays. The ball shouldn't be in JC hands unless he's shooting an open 3.
Of course he can. When he's not handing off to the likes of Rodney Hood and standing in the corner. It might be a small sample, but that's what I've seen from him.

You must have the least amount of fun of any person I've ever heard talk. I'm curious of the things you DO like? Reading? Cake? Everyone loves cake.

This is from Family Guy, but I couldn't find a picture from the show, so...
