Lottery...

1. Celtics - Markelle Futz. PG/SG. Washington...Offensive upside is unreal. Has the potential to be elite at either guard spot. Comparison: Damian Lillard/James Harden

2. Lakers - Lonzo Ball. PG. UCLA. #2 goes #2 to his hometown team - seems like destiny. Not even Lonzos walking circus of a father could deter LA from picking him. Comparison: Jason Kidd/Mike Conley

3. 76'ers - Josh Jackson. SF. Kansas. Philly sticks to their status quo and selects the best player on the board. JJ has a high ceiling and can mask the defensive deficiencies of Simmons, Saric, and Okafor. Comparison: Jimmy Butler/Stephen Jackson

4. Suns - Jayson Tatum. SF. Duke. Tatum and Booker as a potentially lethal one two punch is too alluring for Phoenix to pass up. Can contribute right away. Comparison: Danny Granger/Tobias Harris

5. Kings - De'Aron Fox. PG. Kentucky. It's crucial the Kings hit on their picks after pretty atrocious drafting ever since taking Cousins. Fox is the safest picks here. Has All NBA potential if he can develope a reliable J. Comparsion: John Wall/Jeff Teague

6. Magic - Malik Monk. SG. Kentucky. Monk can fill up the cup, something Orlando has been sorely lacking over he span of their long and grueling rebuild. Could be really good if he can learn to become more of a facilitator. Comparison: Bradley Beal/Monta Ellis.

7. T'Wolves - Jonathan Isaac. SF/PF. Florida State. Alot of people say he could be the steal of the draft given all his rare physical tools. High motor makes him even more appealing, ecspecially to a coach like Thibs. Isn't ready yet, but a solid piece to add to a good young core. Comparison: Rashard Lewis/Otto Porter

8. Knicks - Dennis Smith Jr. PG. NC State. Dennis Smith doesn't think he's the best point guard in the draft, HE KNOWS. While that is highly debatable, his confidence will serve him well in the NBA. Athleticism is other worldly. Comparison: Steve Francis/Derrick Rose

9. Mavericks - Frank Ntilikina. PG. Germany. 6'5 point guard with already years of professional experience and an improving jumper - what's not to like? Could very well be the 2nd best German player to ever wear a Mavs jersey. comparison: Dennis Shroder/Elfrid Payton

10. Kings - Lauri Markkanen. PF. Arizona. Already an elite 3 point sniper, LM can open up the paint big time for the kings, allowing young studs Labissiere and WCS to do their thang in the paint. High IQ player as well. comparison: Ryan Anderson/Troy Murphy

11. Hornets - Zach Collins. PF/C. Gonzaga. In his short stint for Gonzaga, Collins displayed all the tools GM's find desirable for modern big men. While the sample size was small, many see him as a potential top 5 pick in next years draft. Look for a rare Michael Jordan hit here. Comparison: Brad Miller/Cody Zeller

12. Pistons - Donovan Mitchell. SG. Louisville. Detroit may be unwilling to overpay Caldwell-Pope this offseason. With the free agency market for SG's looking less than stellar, their best option may be to fill the position via the draft. Mitchell has emerged as a potneital lottery pick after a great sophomore season where he showed his versatility and desire to win. comparison: Jordan Clarkson/Gary Harris

13. Nuggets - Justin Jackson. SF. North Carolina. JJ os another guy that has flown up the draft boards. Being the best player on a national title team will do that. Would be a tremendous fit for Denver, especially if they lose Danilo Gallinari. Comparison: Trevor Ariza/Will Barton

14. Heat - Ivan Rabb. PF. California. Since Bosh's absense, the Heat have a gaping hole at PF. Some expected more from Rabb his sophomore season, but he still shows the potential to be a high energy defender and rebounder. Comparison: Taj Gibson/Markieff Morris

15. Blazers - O.G. Anunoby. SF/PF. Indiana.

16. Bulls - Jarrett Allen. C. Texas.

17. Bucks - Justin Patton. PF/C. Creighton.

18. Pacers - Luke Kennard. SG. Duke.

19. Hawks - Isaiah Hartenstein. PF. Germany.

20. Blazers - Harry Giles. PF/C. Duke.

21. Thunder - Rodions Kurucs. SF. Greece.

22. Nets - John Collins. PF. Wake Forest.

23. Raptors - Tyler Lydon. SF/PF. Syracuse.

24. Jazz - T.J. Leaf. PF. UCLA.

25. Magic - Bam Adebayo. PF. Kentucky.

26. Blazers - Terrance Ferguson. SG. Australia.

27. Nets - Hamidou Diallo. SG. Kentucky.

28. Lakers - Frank Jackson. PG/SG. Duke.

29. Spurs - Jonathan Jeanne. C. France.

30. Jazz - Jawun Evans. PG. Oklahoma State

31. Hawks- Thomas Bryant. PF/C. Indiana.

32. Suns - Derrick White. SG. Colorado.

33. Magic - Ike Anigbogu. C. UCLA.

34. Kings - Justin Jackson. SF. Maryland.

35. Magic - Dillon Brooks. SF. Oregon.

36. 76'ers - Frank Mason. PG. Kansas.

37. Celtics - Caleb Swanigan. PF. Purdue.

38. Kings - Semi Ojeleye. SF/PF. SMU.

39. 76'ers - Tyler Dorsey. SG. Oregon.

40. Pelicans - Monte Morris. PG. Iowa State.

41. Hornets - Sindarius Thornwell. SG. South Carolina.

42. Jazz - Jaron Blossomgame. SF. Clemson.

43. Rockets - Jonathan Motley. PF. Baylor.

44. Knicks - Anzejs Pasecniks. C. Latvia.

45. Rockets - Jordan Bell. PF/C. Oregon.

46. 76'ers - Mathias Lessort. PF. France.

47. Pacers - D.J. Wilson. PF. Michigan.

48. Bucks - Edmond Sumner. PF. Xavier.

49. Nuggets - Tony Bradley. C. North Carolina.

50. 76'ers - Alberto Abadale. SF. Spain.

51. Nuggets - Andrew Jones. PG. Texas.

52. Wizards - Alec Peter. PF. Valpairaso.

53. Celtics - Cameron Oliver. PF. Nevada.

54. Celtics - Josh Hart. SG. Villanova.

55. Jazz - Andrew White. SG. Syracuse.

56. Suns - Kyle Kuzma. PF. Utah.

57. Nets - Jonah Bolden. PF. Serbia.

58. Knicks - Dwayne Bacon. SF. Florida State.

59. Spurs - Wesley Iwundu. SF. Kansas State.

60. Hawks - P.J. Dozier. SG. South Carolina.

how pleased would you be with those selections for C/s? What would you do differently?

If Tony Bradley stays in the draft I hope we pounce on him in the second.

I like Josh Hart from Villanova.  Would be thrilled to get him in the second round even though there probably is not a place for him on the roster.

Lots of big men choices at 37.  Bradley, Swanigen, Lessort, Motley, Bell.  Anigbogu or Adebayo might drop as well.  Bradley did impress in his limited minutes at Carolina, but would certainly be a long term project.  Adebayo looked really fluid and skilled in a recent workout video, I think he might be worth moving up for.  Lessort looks like a beast and would be a good draft and stash.

Take Jackson.

- high IQ
- great work ethic, reportedly
- smart and emotionally mature (watch his interviews)
- elite athlete
- size and versatility lets him guard 1-3 and play with anyone
- point forward skills, secondary playmaker
- high motor and effort on D, impact player
- rebounds his position (7.4/game)

Fultz doesn't check as many boxes.  Fultz can be a tier 1 scorer, but Jackson has Paul Pierce potential.

Kind of hoping that Anzejs Pasecniks falls to us. Look forward to hearing Tommy try to pronounce his name.

Those other picks need to be stashes unless you want to have those 4 rookies on the team along with Zizic, Yabu, potentially Nader, and 2nd year-men, Brown and Jackson.

Didn't we pretty much draft this guy last year?

Nope.  They have some things in common though.  Jaylen's more of a slasher and a brute force player.  Jackson is a more cerebral player on the court (despite Jaylen being some kind of nerd off the court).  Jackson is more rangy on D, moves his feet better and threatens to block shots.  Higher assist, block, and steal rates... a more impactful defender and a MUCH better passer.

If Tony Bradley stays in the draft I hope we pounce on him in the second.

In this same vein, i would rather Jordan Bell. Two elite skills: rebounding and shotblocking.

Rebounding will always translate, and he just might be good enough to be a shotblocker.

I think Swanigan is just too limited athletically to play in the NBA. He has no lift at 6'7.5. I don't think he's an NBA player, much less worth the 37th pick.

I'd rather take a shot on Adebayo, Lessort, Bryant, or Bradley. They at least have some size and/or athleticism.

I will be shocked if any of the picks that BOS owns after number one ends up on the roster next season.

Jackson is a good player, but he played for a better program (and better fit) at an older age.

I may be wrong, but I feel Jaylen has bigger upside.

While I don't necessarily think they would be redundant, and I would have been perfectly happy drafting him at 2/3/4, I don't see how you don't take Fultz at 1.

There are some (Felger and Mazz bleh!) who think that Fultz is not the franchise player many are making him out to be.  I'm not in that camp, but it does have me thinking, if you could spin the #1 to Philly for an asset and the #3, then you can get Tatum or Jackson, both who might be a better fit based on current roster.

FYI, I'm not in this camp either, I say stay at #1 and take Fultz!
