Same thing holding true again.  Boston is once again playing better without Thomas.

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

With/without Thomas, reality is this team needs another go-to scorer.

It makes you think if we had PG could this team beat Cleveland? It's possible lebron looks spent and tired. I imagine he'll slow down some more next year.

He's not getting younger. Its only a matter of time.
Problem is, there are other really good players around the NBA, including in the East (Wall, Irving).
I'm very happy with this Cs team, but I'm looking forward to the addition of the top draft pick, a top FA, and a possible top tier talent via trade.

Yeah, but without Lebron, Cavs are a fringe playoff team.

And Lowry could leave TOR and head west.

Who knows what Millsap does.

Not tonight and especially not in the two most recent and important quarters of the year.

So Marcus Smart shooting 7/10 from three wasn't sustainable? I'm shocked.

Against a team like the Cavs you really need not one but two guys who can go off.

Against this Celts team LeBron and Kyrie can get thirty any game they want.

We lost by 13 points. If we had IT coming off the bench at the right times, the game would have been much closer. Sprinkled within a game IT is a positive. We sure could have used him tonight.

Yep. People harp on IT's defense, but Kyrie just dropped 42 on us. How much worse could IT have been? Meanwhile, he would have added a heck of a lot more scoring punch (when healthy of course).

When the Cavs defense clamped down and started switching, the C's offense went into the toilet. Zero shot creators on this team outside IT. At least last year they had ET. He was never replaced. Biggest need on the team this offseason.
