Simmons will be the point guard. Monk is a great fit but not the BPA. Trading for Bradley would be a perfect fit with experience, plus they get to take the Best player available, Jackson or Tatum.

 Embiid
 Tatum
 Covington
 Bradley
 Simmons

Bradley could actually be there fourth option on offense. Philly would have three go to scorers better than ours.

 #1 Embiid. Freak talent
#2 Simmons 7 foot Magic Johnson
 #3 Tatum excellent isolation player
#4 Bradley solid as a rock

This Team would be very good.

Philly says no.

Doesn't make sense for Philly.

Also I don't really see why Saric would help the Celts that much.

Gives them a power forward who completely fits what Brad wants to do and also fits the Fultz Brown timeline and the trade opens max cap space for Hayward. It makes a ton of sense.

Philly just doesn't take it

We could sweeten it with Yabu, picks or whatever.

If Philly drafted Monk sand kept Saric I don't like there team as much.

 Embiid
 Saric
 Covington
 Monk
 Simmons

Just not as good. With Bradley and especially Tatum it gives them that prime time scorer to take over games.

I like Saric but he is a below average 3pt shooter (31%) right now.  I don't see how he completely fits what Stevens wants to do.

He's a lot like Horford. He dribbles well, Passes, Shoots, rebounds. Very well rounded player with room to grow.

He reminds me of Toni Kukoc.

Why would they trade Saric for Bradley when he could leave after next season?  They can just wait a year to make him an offer.  They don't gain anything by trading for him.  It gives them another season to see if Embiid can stay healthy.  No reason to get Bradley if he can't.

If Tatum is who they want they'll just draft him.  Saric is not stopping that.  If they use the pick, I think they should go BPA and take Jackson or Fox.  They can have a devastating defense.

I m not sure about saric. Tbh I've never been high on him...  He rookie season was good but I m sure he ll build on it. Mirotic had a great rookie season too but he hasn't t improved a bit since then.

I'd rather gamble on Yabusele than waste assets on another unproven rookie.

I would do it.

But a couple of points:

This trade doesn't work straight up and Bradley's contract makes it almost impossible to match with Saric's in a 2 for 2 or 3 for 3.

Whilst Saric is a nice player hes not a good fit next to Horford, who needs a physical 4 or 5 next to him

Yes it does. Philly can absorb Bradley into their cap space (unless you forsee them going over thr cap this summer, which isn't gonna happen)
I'm bitter.

Not sure that Philly will still be interested in this trade since it seems in all likelihood that they're going after Kyle Lowry(Philly native). They sign Lowry for all the reasons they would want Bradley so unless they want a killer 6th man, I doubt they go for this deal.

That being said if for whatever reason they miss out on Lowry this deal makes a lot of sense for both sides, especially if we lose Olynyk in restricted free agency.
