Bummer, but let the man heal. We'll reload and will be back stronger next year.

The next time we see Isaiah Thomas, he'll be playing alongside Markelle Fultz  8).

Major bummer.

Puts a wrap to one of the greatest seasons I've ever seen a Celtics have.

Not surprising.  He hasn't been himself since the 53 pt game vs the Wiz. Given the pounding he has taken, it's for the best.  I just hope it's nothing that could cause some long term issues.

The way he plays the pounding he takes is always going to be a concern.  I used to marvel at the way Larry Bird both absorbed and dished out punishment banging with bigs back in the day and ultimately his body broke down a little sooner than everyone might have hoped.

Title is slightly misleading, the season and post season are different. Don't want to nitpick but just saying.

He's been clearly playing injured for a few games. He needs to rest up.

Alright then.

What a bummer end to this season.

He had a good run, even if the end was a bit of a whimper.

Come back strong next year.
