I'm going to keep the All-NBA player leading his team deep into the playoffs, who are at the same time would be a good mentor to Fultz.  There's no hurry to make a rash move to compete a little faster, but likewise there is little reason to take a short-term steps backwards.

not really....you can go over the cap in a trade---renounce all of our free agents...trade other players for Butler, after you sign Hayward...can be done.

Yes--cause his contract expires after next season--Wyc's just gonna have to pay some luxury tax---That's what the new GE Logos on unis are for...no-?

Bench would still be Fultz...Smart...Brown...Zizic...and some cheap vets.
After you deal Crowder/Bradley/Rozier/BK18 for Butler...not ideal, but can be done.

Isaiah is the face of our franchise, has played trough a hell of a postseason, and already helped recruit one major FA here.  We roll with Isaiah.

I'd pick Jackson at three and it wouldn't even be a close call for me.

I like jackson... But his 'unsure' shooting I doubt interests Danny, CBS

For them the big players need to have pg like skills and short players built , tough, long long wingspan...

Josh Jackson is gritty, has a great motor and can't shoot. That has "Danny" written all over it. The only thing he's missing is that he's not undersized.

Same, and I think it's highly likely Danny Ainge feels the same way.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

What about his character issues, from reports he attacked a female basketball player? Ainge and Stevens highly value character.

I thought he allegedly vandalized her car? They do highly value character, but that didn't stop them from taking Marcus Smart, who attacked a fan. The situations are not exactly parallel, but both are fiery on the court with some character questions.

Give me the MVP candidate, All-NBA player.

Yup.  This trade makes the Celtics significantly worse in the present.
Piling on here....trading IT makes us worse and I am not convinced Fultz will be as good as IT is now, so maybe worse in the future.

Call me a hater of youth, but I am not enamored with this draft class. I am not sure even one player at the top of this draft class will be as good as Wall or IT or Gordon Hayward

Almost every draft has a player from the top 5 or 6 that ends up better than Gordon Hayward or Thomas.

This draft is supposed to be a really good draft. Thus you are a hater of youth.
