What draft position will you be satisfied with?

Satisfied? Only the top pick. We've gotten the shaft way too often in the lottery. We earned the best odds by fleecing Brooklyn, so it's time for that to pay off.

If we don't get the top pick, I still trust Danny to make the best of it either by taking the best player or including it in a trade.

2. A team with decent odds gets the #1 pick (Suns, Philly. ect.) but we end up 2nd or 3rd.
3. Lakers land at #4 and loose their pick
4. Lakers land at #1 and draft Lonzo Ball.

I will be disappointed if:
1. A team with like .5% chance to win gets the first pick
2. We draft Lonzo Ball.

Great point about the Lakers - would love to see them land outside the top 3. If we end up with the 4th pick, seeing LA lose its pick would be a pretty nice consolation prize.

I'll be satisfied with the #4 pick, but I'll feel like we got "robbed" a bit, even though that is the most likely outcome.

It's useful to look at some probabilities:

#1 pick: 25% chance
Top 3 pick: 64% chance
#4 pick: 36% chance

Looking at it with perspective I'm happy to have a top 4 pick. If it ends up being #1 overall then that's amazing but it's already exceeded my expectation

If I knew the Lakers would take Ball, I'd hope for the Lakers to get the first pick and us the second pick.  Would love to see them F up and be tormented for years for letting us get Fultz at 2.

before the season started (actually before last season as well) I said the Nets would be giving us a top 5 pick this year.  premonition fulfilled however after last night's win to get to the ECF, I really want that top pick to feel really happy. 

realistically, any pick will get us a great prospect but having the best odds to get the top pick I really want those odds to play in our favor for a change.

What I want, depending on where we land, is this:

#1 - Take Fultz
#2 - Take Tatum
#3 - Trade pick
#4 - Trade pick

Don't need to add any more "non-star" guards to this roster, and I don't want any athletic defensive role players who can't shoot.

1 would be great.  Don't think there's much of a difference between 2 and 3 because Ball and Jackson are on the same tier in my mind.  4 would be a disappointment.
