yeah the refs are horrible but we're allowing them to have an impact. we need to come out and play that game 5 defense.

That was amazing defense by Smart.  He didn't fall for the fake, and close out with excellent footwork.

I think Smart and Bradley suffer from the same situation - Refs call the outcome and not the play, and they aren't used to seeing such excellent defense.

Celts are in big trouble they executed and played defense about as good as they can and the Wiz are up. Wall coasted through that first half best believe he's bringing it in the second half. I can't say the same about IT he's been awful he's not even looking for his shot

This feels like it may boil down to Wall + Beal versus Isaiah.

Two versus one.

They have two offensive superstars, the Celts have one.

Thomas can only do so much.

Problem is that our superstar is being exploited defensively.

Yeah cause Smart definitely didnt get more contact on that then Beal. Its unreal. NBA wants John Wall to continue on so they can still ride him.

Basically this. They are going to get what they get out of marketing IT and the current Celtics either way. This is about making Wall a household NBA Superstar name and marketing the Wizards.

Make or miss right? Right now, C's can't hit open shots. They allowed Washington to remain in the game and now they are down. Disappointing half.
